What character would you hate to be?

I would like to know what character (in ANY anime) you would not like to be. It can be funny or serious (based on morals or something).

For example : I would hate to be Asuma from Naruto, because of Chouji. I love him and all and I understand his jutsu, BUT he eats my whole paycheck . Don't I have to eat and take out Kurenai in the future?

If you mean main characters... hmm... I would have to say Mion from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

For two reasons: I would not want the responsibility of having to keep secrets and be the future head of a huge family.

I would hate to be Light from death note for a number of reasons:
1. Having a death note would be super confusing and I might write some one's name (such as my brother when he's bugging me) and then regret it (maybe)
2. All the mind games going on with L would make my head hurt
3. Seeing a death god and having it follow me around...... are you kidding me that would scare the #$@!! out of me
4. I might mistake the death note for one of my school books and accidently write my own name down

Hmm... this is a tough question.

I'd prolly say the main guy in any number of harem series, because being in the middle of a harem would actually suck (as much as many people would disagree) -- if you choose one, you hurt the others. But maybe that's just my view as a woman, and thinking a lot of harem situations are pretty craptacular. >.>

Also there's a number of violent nasty series with tortured/molested/otherwise abused characters. Seems to be a fairly common background. =p

I tend to feel sorry for Watanuki in xxxHOLiC, too. Being Yuuko's slave would be a real pain at times. Though she is pretty awesome (one of my favourite characters of all time) so maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Then there are those who need to be brainwashed to keep from cracking under the patheticness of their lives. I'm thinking specifically of Angelica from Gunslinger Girl; not that any of her comrades had it 'easy'.

Guts from Berserk. Man, it would seriously suck ass to be that guy, even with the superhuman strength and endurance.

-gets betrayed by his father figure and raped up the ass as a kid
-spends most of his childhood a loner that hates human contact
-finally finds people that to call friends and family, only to have his best buddy turn on him and brand him and all of his friends for sacrifice and an eternity of torture in Hell
-all but one of his branded friends are brutally slaughtered right after the betrayal (well, two, seeing as how the way Corkus got a pretty happy death)
-girlfriend turns retarded and becomes scared of him
-spends every second being hounded by demons, attacking him while he's awake and even invading his dreams

It doesn't get much worse than that.
