That all depends on what channel it would have been broadcasted on and at what time it would have aired.

Skye... they're talking about the ridiculous censorship that appeared in SEED's daytime airing, which, among other things, turned regular sidearms used by people into laser guns. NOT the beam rifles and such used by the mobile suits themselves.

I remember reading somewhere that the writer/director had some sort of argument or something with Cagalli's VA, so they killed her character......not too sure though, all this info is secondhand

I blame all the mishaps of Destiny on the bad writing and directing, thats the core problem

Rumor was the writer had issues with Cagalli's VA, and went out of her way to make her unlikable, and then more or less removed her from the story for the finale. And when Shinn's VA defended her, she also made him into an unlikable jerk and replaced him with Kira as the main.

Of course nearly all the VAs had issues with the show. Kira and Lacus's VA's complained the characters were so calm and mellow they were boring to play, and Lacus's VA had much more fun playing Meer. While Athrun's VA said he had no idea what Athrun was supposed to be feeling because his characterisation was all over the place. And Luna's VA said the director gave her a very hard time while performing (which is hard to believe because Luna didn't really get any major scenes).

Even the dub actors were appalled at what the show had turned into when they returned. Matt Hill, Kira's english VA in particular had no clue why Kira suddenly became the way he was. And this was the guy who was so into Kira in Seed that he had the audio director kick him in the crotch in the recording booth so he could cry more effectively.

Is there any actual coformation any of those (beyond Lacus' va) or are they nothing more then rumors.

That fearless girl who fought BuCUEs like crazy has responsibilities now. She's not being a coward, just letting her bodyguard do his job. Cagalli has no reason to be stubborn with Athrun like she was with Kira in the first episode of SEED.

Athrun and Luna's JP VAs and Matt Hill were all confirmed by them.

The rest are rumors though.

Rie Tanaka I think commented just recently about how Lacus was the hardest role she played.

Anything that we already don't know? Morosawa was a sackload of utter wank and the executives from Sunrise/Bandai should have branded her the red card when they saw how things got out of hand between her and the VAs.

This kind of procedure shouldn't be so different from what is done in the US when the writer 1) just plain sucks and 2) gets into an argument with several actors at the same time.

Let her bodyguard do his job =/= not same as useless
She didn't <<even>> try to look around her >> someone who is used for battle do staff automatically like find away to fight our searching for escaping route since she is used for guerrilla battle

You're way overthinking this. As someone who's not there to fight, she reacted just fine to the situation.

And even if she did something, what could she accomplish? If she jumped into a MS cockpit she would have been operating a foreign suit with somewhat (if not mostly) different controls from her Rouge, then she would be facing 3 next gen prototype MS

Her only options were to:
-Get out of there
-Let Athrun handle it

^ Another thing was that, those MS are designed for the use of coordinators. Cagalli is a Natural and the MS would need an advance OS for her to use a MS effectively.
