hehe most people at my school don't get where it came from. Even all the "Fangirls" In the Anime club(Which I'm not part of, I just hang out in the photography room where they have their meetings, had no idea what it was. Plus our schools public so I'm less likely to get in trouble for it. Though there was one guy sitting behind me who was trying to caress Nora's bust.... BTW his girlfriend was sitting right next to him. I'm so happy right now too, just got my Anta Baka Eva shirt from Japan. And it came with a free nerv wristband . Next up I need to get that At field one, then I go to make a new Spice and Wolf t shirt. I'll post it here once I find some pictures good enough to make it. Thanks for anyone who buys the first shirt.

So far I can't say I've seen a beter shirt on the net for Spice and wolf. Though there may be some other fan made ones I don't know of.

haha, but I think it rules ^_^, and the fact you actually wore it in public...I have a long way to go if I want to call myself a true fan....sigh.
There is still a lot of ground to cover to be a great fan personally. Still its a pretty nice shirt and might get one.

Somehow it just gives a lot of laughs to picture that scene. Good luck on the next shirt as well.

I may just want to wait till season 2 is finally released on tv so more people will get ideas for funny, or even intense situations. I have a feeling volume 3 on anime is going to be awesome and sad at the same time.

The e2046 clothed Horo kit ..... errrr, don't like the face.
The e2046 nude Horo kit is really good .... and I've no clue where I'd be able to display such a thing. :P Nice rendition though....

I've reached the conclusion that though I'm pretty good at pewter figure painting --- realistic skin tones are beyond my skills (at least with the time I have to devote to them). I have a couple of e2046 kits (Motoko:Love Hina, Hazuki:TMP) ... but methinks I need to seek out someone who knows what they're doing.

The last model anything I painted was a 1996 Lotus Esprit V8 when I was 12. 12 years ago. And I used a spray can for all the big parts. No airbrushing or anything fancy.

I'm positive I could paint a model car decently, they don't require the kind of skill a model figure would.

This disapoints me greatly, as I'd much like to own both figures. I have since found the second one on eBay, for $300 painted. This is not the sort of money I would ever spend on a figure. I might be able to justify say $100 on a really good one, but $300 is out of the question until I have money to swim in like Scrooge McDuck.

Aye... one time I paid more than $120 for a figure and that was because I got into a bidding war with someone for a rather rare figure of Motoko(Love Hina) in miko garb drawing her sword. That ended up being a "what the hell was I thinking" $220 ... but now she's occupies the center of my shrine to things anime. Usually I keep it in the $20-$100 range and recently have been selling some figures that I really failed to have a long lasting attachment to.

I wonder if a company will offer those figures in PVC form. Or if there will be anymore PVC figures produced.

I've painted model rockets and planes and cars, but figs are new to me. I might do it if I had a weekend to myself.

The 2nd one is awesome, if only she has some clothes on. It looks much better than the 1/6 by Taki, 1/7 by Kospa and the 1/8 by Kotobukiya on the market now. I would definitely buy it if she is fully painted and not nude since there's no way I can publicly display her like that.

Are you sure it's not so good BECAUSE she's naked

Horo doesn't need clothes...

I personally like the first one, I think it's cute. Though the apple looks somewhat too large.

The second one is also good, but like you, I would not be able to display it anywhere without feeling a bit off. You could always make her some clothes, since she already requires assembly, why not make some little clothes. That's far beyond me, but seems like a valid idea.

I can also tell you first hand that the TAKI Horo is terrible. And that Cospa's Horo, her tail is disgusting without the skirt on. With it on, I find her pretty decent.

I feel like the second piece is actually more art than sex so to speak - its just a really good interpretation of her ... but I'd have to have a placard explaining her (wolf goddess of the harvest; great personality) if I set her in the main living room.

(so tired of people who see skin and auto-bork to "its porn!")

It wasn't my intent to auto-bork to anything. It just seemed like a fun response.

I'd like to see a more angles and with better lighting and cameras. Would be interested to see if it really is well done, or if they're just good angles or something.

Interpret more angles however you please

No, I wasn't poking at you (apologies if that was taken that way...) but I encounter people in RL fairly regularly who can't differentiate between "nekkid" and nudity....

literally "those ancient peoples were lewd with all those naked statues and stuff..."

it makes my brain ache just thinking about them.

Just have to say, that's such an perfect sub-title for the figure. It works on so many levels -- good stuff!

Despite the description, I can't help but think people giving me the weird looks as people tend to be one-minded when it comes to interpretation of such a thing. Bronze statues are one thing, but fully colored naked women with their nipples carefully painted would definitely give outsiders (who are foreign to anime and PVC figures) the wrong impression.

One might argue this point from a different perspective. Why do you care that they give you weird looks?

HEHEHE the same looks I get from people wearing my shirt at school; but surprisingly, since I've started wearing my shirt and sharing with some people that I like some animes, a couple people who I never really knew too well before have expressed some interests in animes. Several of them have actually expressed desire to watch the series. It's like I'm a pagan missionary for Horo.

The Second Shirt is done, tell me what you think. DO NOT BUY IT YET, I need to purchase it first to ensure it still looks good despite the fact that I made images bigger. Shout out any suggestions to make it better. Thanks to all the cool artists who drew the pics.

I think the front should be something different. And if anyone wants to post super huge good quality version of any of these pics it'd be a huge help. Thanks in advance...
