Anime with solid plot
Hi, well i think i have seen almost every decent series and quite alot of bad ones.
I tend to avoid "average-good-hearted-guy-meets-5-hotgirls-who happen-to-like-him-for-no-reason" cliches really really bothers me eg. (guy falling on top of a girl directly making her panties exposed or w/e variant crap they pull) or fanservice purpose series Cough: sekirei: cough I prefer series with strong heroine, but doesn't really matter. i'm open to any genre. except sports... Series that i liked: vampire knight ouran host club death note code geass s1 chobits monster true tears higurashi series lucky star azumanga daioh fate stay night Series i disliked: All power up long series. not that i dislike them, i just don't want to watch a long series. eg. bleach, naruto, shaman king, etc most harem: school days, ichigo 100%, etc mecha series thank you in advance |

Rurouni Kenshin OVA-defintely solid plot, has strong female mains, though they're not leads
World Destruction-Girl is one of the main characters and due to her past she is set out to destroy the world(not as a villain but an anti-hero) Black Lagoon-Walking between stray angry gangsters and death, rock enters(though not becoming) the life of an outlaw and having revvy save his ass Hantsuki-6 episode romance where boy meets a selfish girl tsunderish, and falls in love all while enduring the life threatening situation they both have Kara no Kyoukai-Similar to fate/stay night but in an entirely different scene and direction, cuz its from the same creators Kimi-Kiss ~ pure rogue-its a multi love triangle romance new this year...you might or might not like it Kure-nai-a weird story, or should i say unique story that covers a weird world Shakugan no Shana-bit of fantasy where a boy finds out his lifespan has been reduce due to the lost of his spiritual torch, whole lotta emotions tossed, and some action Zero no Tsukaima-harry potter world...kinda...same voice actors from shakugan no shana Spice and WOlf- an awesome romance between lawerence, a traveling merchant, and horo a wolf deity Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-Clannad style funny without the harem or romance |

Edo Rocket (mysterious girl asks Edo-period fireworks maker to help her get to the moon) Shows with strong plots and mixed casts: Dennou Coil (sci-fi with kids living in a virtual world; great animation and music as well) Kure-nai (boy is tasked with protecting a young heiress) Baccano! (set in 1930's America; mixes gangsters and alchemy)

i emphasized plot b/c i dont wanna to see same old crap i always see.
You know the typical boy who has some hidden power to destroy the world meets some hot girl. girl becomes weakling, guy NEEDS to protect her. With his lame monologue. At the end the world is saved with the power of love/friendship. the typical dragonaut garbage. arjuna looks pretty good. ty |

The main character is male, but there are a few strong female characters. Have a look? |

That pretty much the opposite what you descrived, and the fan-service is pretty much nonexistant ( when we think than the manga is rated Mature) |
