Franz Kafka's A Country Doctor

THIS IS SO COOL. Seriously, this is *such* a good idea on the part of ... well, whoever came up with this. Kafka's story is perfect for a surreal anime-short adaptation, and if the two screenshots that are up are any indication, this will be a job done right. The original story is probably one of Kafka's greatest short stories (he wrote a lot of stuff that was only 1/2 page - 6 pages long) and I can imagine that it'd be both really fun and really challenging to try and animate it. I am positively thrilled not only that this is happening, but that someone had the idea to do it in the first place! All is not lost in the world of anime!! Okay, I'm done fanboying. In any case, I don't actually know when we'll get to see the completed product, but I'm not very good at searching out information like that so it may be out there. |

But yeah, I'm mostly interested in how they would animate it. |
