The results were as predicted, I'm now glad I voted for Matsurika because Kyaputen just owned everyone to no end.

Predictions:

Saki: As if there's any doubt for this, one-sided match.
Nagi: Ditto
Yoshika: Statistically leagues beyond her group.
Miyako: Because the other option would be Imoko winning, let's not go there

Also, I'm voting for Yumi-chin, Ai, Yoshika, and Miyako
EDIT: Just found out something while studying the chart, Mihoko's got some grade S support going on for her. With Nodoka on round 2 and Saki for round three, it wouldn't be too hard for her to blow through her side of the bracket.

Poor Yumi-chin D: Saki as a whole didn't have much luck with so many of their characters stuffed into the last group (including my favorite )

Predictable results were predictable. Back to a 4-0 day for me after three straight 3-1's. But my losses in picks are closing up on the wins. ;_;

Anyway, Mihoko really crushed her competition... which makes my pre-round Misaka prediction now look somewhat bad. But I'm sticking to my (rail)guns... That would be an interesting match to look forward to, and regrettably it had to be as early as round 2.

Now for the last block, and onto week 4, and pretty soon, the round of 96!

Anime Saimoe Tournament 2009 Main Draw, Day 22

Indirect Saki-Nagi match, as those two are in for a collision course if the stats hold up. But for now they have to deal with their opponents, which are somewhat not so formidable. The two should have no problem advancing. Let's see who does better...

For the latter two matches, I'm picking Yoshika and Miyako to win, although Imo-chan might have something to say about it...

Also, I know there are many, many fake votes, but it looks like Nagi is just over-powering everybody. Even Kagura have her share of fake votes so it wouldn't seem like a one-sided match for Saki. At this rate her vote percentage should be somewhere around the 80-90 mark

Yuki didn't win by as much as I thought she would but it was still a clear win. Coopa didn't comes close to beating Eruruu. I thought Eruruu would have a lot more toruble winning. As expected, Mihoko stomped her opponents. Ushio also underperformed a bit relative to my expecations.

It's finally time for Saki herself to step up to the table. Kagura isn't fodder but even with Yumi using Chankan to hold Saki back, it won't be enough to stop Saki from stomping everyone with Rinshan Kaihou. 6 more Saki characters still to go with only 2 more days after today. Sanzenin Nagi stomps her group. She needs to look good if she hopes to compete with Saki. Yoshika stomps everybody in the third group. Strike Witches characters aren't weak but Yoshika is just outclassed in Round 2. The fourth match does have a completely obvious winner. The match is between Miyamiya and Imoko. I'm giving the edge to Miyamiya.
