Nice. Saimoe article remains by noconsensus (or "filibuster"). I'd be betting more on Mafuyu. And, the only character who seems out of place in this final 8 is Saten. Everyone else seems like a final 8 type character.

We don't need Wikipedia anymore. There is no such thing as notability.

You know, I was gonna say "AVATAR OF INTERNET RAGE MACHINE End: Nodoka" but seeing this pairing, I can rest easy now. If she beats Shana... I shall have a very strong urge to ditch RL, put in the 10 hours of grinding I still need to do and then go beat ***WINNER*** on Labyrinth of Touhou.
Nagi vs Mafuyu - now that's interesting. Very interesting. Yamada vs Azunyan is also highly interesting.

Compared to the worst case scenario brackets I came up with, the actual draw only differed by swapping Nodoka and Koromo, and putting their matches in different halves. With every trolling opportunity except a Saki vs Saki match taken (and in retrospect, ruling that out until the championship could be a bigger troll than putting it in), these brackets should provide maximum blood and tears. And thinking about it some more, Shana/Nodoka in the first round is worse than just making it the most likely possibility for the semis. 2ch just put more thought into making evil troll brackets than I did! also, ( ヽ´ω`) for President Last edited by rblox; 2010-10-05 at 13:05. |

Mafuyu verses Nagi:
Other than their otaku-ness and blond hair, these two don't have much in common. Nagi is a hot-blooded tsundere while Mafuyu is... omnidere? So which will it be? The tried and true Saimoe standby veteran, Nagi, or the surging upstart, Mafuyu? I'm not gonna predict this match since I think it's dead even. My vote will be for Mafuyu, but Nagi has my respect. The winner here shouldn't have any trouble beating Koromo or Saten to reach the finals. Koromo verses Saten: Interesting that these two characters got matched up, since they're the only ones I didn't see any why that they'd reach the finals. I predict Saten, as she's the one holding the Railgun flag now. I will also be voting Saten. Nodoka verses Shana: I don't really want to talk about this match. It will be close. Voting Shana, predicting Nodoka. I think Azusa should beat either of them in the semi-finals. If Yamada advances, I'm not so sure what will happen. Yamada verses Azusa: Just how strong is Yamada? I don't think anyone really knows. I've seen Yamada from the beginning as the character that people who have lost all of their favorites might vote for, which means that she gets stronger the deeper the tournament goes. However, being paired against Azusa looks pretty terrible for her. Azusa is strong, but I won't say it's an auto-win for her because Yamada is pretty unpredictable. Unfortunately for Yamada, not only is Azusa one of the strongest of the top 8, even if Yamada won against Azusa, she would gain a lot of negative karma. As you may have guessed, I'm voting for Yamada. She's been one of my favorites from the beginning, and she's my last surviving one. I thought you hadn't seen Working!!. You should. It might give you someone to support in the top 8 (or it might not, but at least you'd be educated). |

This draws I like...I like a lot...seeing how I went 2-6 in my predictions last round (but went 6-2 in my picks) I will try it again this time to see if I can jynx it like last time.
Bold (who I want to win) and Italic/Underlines (prediction): ┌ 三千院ナギ@ハヤテのごとく!! (Azusa) As long as Nodoka, Koromo, and Saten are eliminated, there is absolutely nothing that can spoil this saimoe for me anymore, no matter who wins after that gets my full "FUCK YEAH" from me. Spoiler for awesome:

So Nodoka will get to face the last of the main four Rie tsundere lolis. Having faced and defeated Nagi and Louise, but losing to Taiga last year. Now it is the original's turn against the Twin Moons. Wonder how Shana will fair?

Don't bother with it. The admin that PRODed it also PRODed ISML and deleted chunks of the 2channel page. More than a hundred of his last 500 edits are all deletions and he has a deletion score box on his user page. He hates that page and wants it gone so he can put another notch on his score. No amount of sourcing or editing is going to change his idea that it's a bunch of Unclean that must be purged from Holy Pedia. Just let him do it. Arguing with an admin is doomed to failure.
