Both Noitamina CMs had no animation, but we'll get a full PV of GD at 19/09. Honestly, more interested in Samurai Flamenco...

The thing that really raises my hopes with this show is that Spyair will compose the opening theme. I really cried of joy because of how awesome their songs are, one more thing left is that I'm not too sure about the show beyond that, I'll try watching the first few episodes to see if it goes well with me.

I'm personally not fond of the anime designs since I'm a huge fan of Chinatsu Kurahana's art. It doesn't help that the last two anime series to feature Kurahana's designs (UtaPri and Aquarion EVOL) did a great job adapting her style in their own way.

They're okay if you discount her involvement, I guess. Certainly not horrible or anything.

I'll agree with Aquarion, but the Utapri designs don't resemble Kurahana's designs in any way. I actually think the SF designs did a way better job, if you're a fan of hers.

I think they do overall, particularly Tokiya, Masato and Haruka. In any case both shows adapted her designs in their own way but still made me go "Ah, it's Kurahana!" when I look at them but here only Keisuke Hidenori gives me that feeling so far. Maybe that'll change once we get an actual animated PV or something, IDK.

Well, the CM wasn't much, but the character designs look OK - I also wonder how Kurahana's designs ended up looking like that, though. I kind of like the old-school music, too, as short as it is.

The cast, though. The title character is a near-complete rookie with a past of acting/singing/being a professional ikemen. I'm curious of how he sounds, though they gave him the lead role so I guess he's probably at least decent. Sugita Tomokazu, though... he's one of the seiyuu that, I feel, have been picking up too many mannerisms, which is fun sometimes but it can get really boring. I hope in this show he'll make an effort and act. And I hope Kosugi's & Ookawa's characters will be at least regulars...

I'm still very excited about this show, though. The official site has the image from the CM in full, and it looks pretty nice.

Premieres 10th October 25:20 JST. Galilei Donna also premiered on same day, it aired before this series.
