ep 18 ~

and the mystery game continues...nearly the whole ep is focused on rin finding out more and more about the game ~ basically him and his 2 friends are attacked by this guy's boss who has special powers as well ~ rin defeats him with easy killing his youma thus turning him back into a normal being...meanwhile ayano and cath fight a mahou shoujo type girl and she is taken back to a police station...
at this stage they both spill the beans on the game ~ how they found a site and signed up...next came a strange dream and before the knew it they had special powers in the morning...
ren picks up a hint in this guys dream and he moves to a tall twin building...there he uncovers an illusion but is soon caught in it himself...his 2 friends only call out his name with no response...

Haven't actually seen the ep. but if you look at the screen caps that show a red moon in the background, it is kazuma holding up a cell. talking to Kirika. Still I'd wished they show what happened the moment Kazuma saw Tsuoi Rin, I wonder if he did just let her go? I mean if he wanted to keep her right there, he could probably do so with ease.

Well that's too bad but have to do what you've gotta do. I'll just watch both but to each their own.

So yeah the girl from the end of 17 was the same person in the Kazuma flashback, and in the opening credits. Nice of Kazuma to name her as well as Rin. With her condition in the flashback and the utter shock on his face I'm sure people can draw their own suspicions about this.

Yukari never fails to amaze at her sources and background. She just gets her hands on a couple tasers without much trouble and has quite the information network. Would have to echo Ayano's question of just what is Yukari .

Plus the muscle bound idiot follows the line of people who bother Ayano or in that case hit on her will be deal with swiftly. Plus with the camera guy getting beaten a few times it goes to show being a pervert will get you killed or close to it. At least got some good Ayano and Kazuma chatter with him of course having fun riling her up. Though she seemed to get him a bit testy by drinking his coffee.

I doubt if you would be able to stop someone with ease after assuming she has been dead for years and she suddenly appears before your eyes

Glad to see the show's finally back to it's main plot--the last couple of episodes didn't really appeal to me. It seems that guy with the mask (Vernheart Rhodes) is gonna make his appearance next week (ok appeared this week in the flashback of that guy but we didn't saw his face). And of course, we have Tsuo Rin vs. Ayano =D

As for Kazuma..he'll probably find out sooner or later his brother is missing and comes to rescue him for the usual fee

Well also glad the main plot is back up and running. Though man we're getting some weird people. Guess they felt Catherine could stick around so have her beat up on one of these weirdos is just fine.

Can't blame Kazuma for not catching her. Pulled some nice trick to vanish like that and you can't expect him to be that sharp since she was the last person he expected to see. Fighting Ren with fire is just a foolish thing to attempt. Both Ren and Ayano prove to have great friends accepting them for who they are rather than the abilities they have.

Next week should be great. Ayano vs Tsuou Rin....grudge match sword battle. Guess we'll find out how this one goes down. Though curious what role Kazuma is going to play in the coming episode.

Well Ren has been pretty impressive whenever he shows up on screen. Pretty level leaded so he can get the job done in a fight. At the very least I would expect him to stay up there in power. He's certainly good in techniques and not just raw battle power.

i wonder why she showed up all of a sudden...from the looks of it she still retained some if not all of her past memories yet she just ran away from kazuma ~ would be understandable if the past enemy kazuma lost rin to took control over her body but she appears to have a will ~ and the fight in the preview O.O i smell epixness all around XD

I finally manage to catch up. Let's see....that Hot Springs episode is quite amusing. Aside for some mild fanservices, the Kazuma vs. Genma fight scenes are really entertaining. Hm, is that how they greet each other back then too? Oh Katherine reminds me of Takako (OtoBoku) when she was all embarassed or acting high and mighty. Plus, she has curly hair too
