Well , without 3G for me , it's useless , unless you want to surf on net everytime on your move but don't play game with it , it'll lag so much.

Apparently 3G it is region depended, so some region just might end up with just one model (wi-fi only), if no deal is worked out with carriers. However 3G could be useful, since the NGP does have a big oled touchscreen and gps build in.

lt's discussed about Playstation suite. do you thin this will attract mobile owner to playstation brand. probably this able to drag mobile user to buy NGP.

also what is you wish list about NGP game.

for me FF7 HD remake will be awesome.

I already have my GPS so it won't affect me but yes , if people doesn't have GPS yet it could be useful.
But another question : What is the price for 3G and what mode ? Only one price for 3G enabled ? or Monthly subscription?

For FF7 remake , i think you can wait , maybe never , cuz Square Enix said it before that it won't happens for X reasons or when they'll have times...

You pay for the 3G console and the monthly subscription price with your contract. The same with every other 3G enabled device available.
About the price for 3G version, it will probably be at least 100$ more than the non-3g version.

You can access PSN online services anywhere you get 3G, which is basically everywhere

But what about my UMD collection?!? Now answered by sony, read more on andriasang.com.
To make it short, no UMD reader planned, but looking for possibilities. So if you were smart enough to get the latest games on PSN, you will be fine. Or you can buy some games reprinted on sony's new NGP flash cartridges.
I wonder what they are looking in to, maybe usb cable PSP to NGP cable, or some kind of online registration of UMD games with you psp? Who knows...

The problem I have with this NGP is the same that I had with 3DS, battery life time. I certainly don't want to search for a power source every 3 to 4 hours, and having to play games near power source kills the portable function of handhelds. Even worse, fearing the pirates(which I fully understand), Sony has make us unable to bring several batteries to extend our playing time. Hopefully they will fix the power source problem soon, or make a portable charger so I can buy either this or 3DS(or possibly both :P)

Exactly. I enjoy the 6-8 hours I still get on my original phat DS. If it can't even handle an average plane flight, there's no point in getting it.

i never saying this is "official source" could be fake though.

problem with psp is because it use UMD which let to short battery life.

sony make good decision regarding about hardware. both GPU and CPU it very energy efficient compare to power that hey have. OLED more efficient compare to LCD. flash storage make NGP both light and low energy consumption.

achieving 6-8 hours is quite easy for NGP. if they have right battery

New NGP details emerge at private event

highlight include:

* very easy to develop.
* it easy to port ps3 game to NGP
* BUT sony doesn't want NGP version simply a port of ps3 game. they have to be reason behind it (probably because it use many of NGP feature like touchscreen)
* new shipment of finalised NGP devkit been sent (most of key studio have it about years ago)
* wipeout been shown. it nearly identical to ps3 cousin both techinical perspective (60 FPS, same shaders) and look
* there is chance that 3g version will not available form launch (indicating wi fi only version first to be in sale before 3g version)
* Both front and back panels capable of six-point multi-touch. ( probably means you can use six finger to touch.)
* All games at launch available on flash (the physical storage medium) would also be on PSN
* NGP plan: year one focused on "hardcore" and year two on "hardcore and teens" probably means also casual. after that expand on both market
* Social networking can be used to give virtual gift
* camera and augmented reality can make new skins and avatars
