The anime and the manga are two completely different things so don't expect one to be like the other. The manga is basically a shounen manga version with porn, the anime is... let's just say, it's more intelligent.

The anime is a NoitaminA-version for office ladies and their poor kids that tries to follow the novel's plot (not always successfully, since it has to censor a lot of material), while the manga expands on the more interesting aspects of human psyche driven to the edge, like the author did his novel

The anime is far superior than the manga. It focus more on the "what's behind everything?"

The manga on the other hand.. took away big part of it IMHO... It more focus on "excitement" of the bonobo system...

Nah, probably trolling.

No, sorry, he's right. He's totally right. He's been right all along, so please forgive me for being so loud about my deluded and misleading opinions. I have been made to realize that due some unfortunate circumstances that I cannot control I am not fit to judge this matter. I apologize. I won't do it again.

I'm very serious about this.

Question about the queerats - Is it ever said (in the book, manga or anime) where they came from? A thousand years isn't nearly enough time for a new intelligent species to evolve on its own.

Yes, they do say where they come from, but it will be mentioned in the anime so for anyone who is wondering I suggest to wait, watch the damn show, and find out in due time.

Really, there's a reason the anime hasn't mentioned certain things so far (not that they can't be figured out on one's own, but that's different from knowing it for sure), and knowing them beforehand will seriously lessen the impact of many things. -_- There's a reason spoilers are called spoilers.

The answer given was what I'd already guessed. I was just wondering whether they'd actually say so at some point.

There have been hints but nothing concrete, as for your second point I recommend an interview on ANN wherein the author comments on that.

the link: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/anim...-the-new-world

It's spoiler free.

Question!

Is death feedback given to humans in childhood through hypnosis or is it genetic?

The False Minoshiro exposition in episode 4 (iirc) explicitly stated that it is genetic. The hypnosis only extends it further to include inhibition on having even the thought of harming another human was my gathering.

So in some of the recent thread mentioned by some novel readers of a "psycho buster letter" since this was cut apparently I'd appreciate knowing what it said if someone could share? (In a spoiler tag) Since I doubt ep 25 will be showing it.

PK didn't all descend from one person. It manifested in some people and not other.

Was it ever stated outright what happened to Maria and Mamoru or did the show only go as far as to heavily imply things?

It's never said outright, but it's strongly suggested that Squealer had them killed after their baby was born. This is also the assumption that Saki operates under.

I'm sorry I think I got lost somewhere but if Maria's child wasn't a fiend, how did Kiroumarou's group get annihilated again (Episode 18)? I think I'm missing/forgetting a plot thread somewhere.

Also why was Saki breading naked mole rats again (again I feel like I'm missing an important point)?

The Giant Hornet colony had their weapons and possibly even armour taken away from them by the Kid, so naturally they were sitting ducks in battle.

I'm not so sure about Saki breeding mole rats, but I assume it may've been just a hobby that was carried over? I think her job right before the Queerrat rebellion might've involved breeding or studying mole rats so she could better handle the Queerrat-to-Human relations.
