So there was some fanservice. It got me thinking... would we get an episode where the characters go to Frontier auxiliary island that has a beach in it? It seems like a required episode in anime lately.

In the deculture version Sheryl was happy Frontier has a beach.

It was a very silly episode, but cute nonetheless. Sheryl was hilarious.

Meh, I still think it's more likely Brera is a relative of Ranka. I don't see them as a couple at all.

I accidently gave it a 7, that was supposed to be an 8.

I actually prefer the character development after a HUGE battle.

Bwahahaha! Shugo Chara! It's Shugo Chara!

The art style in this ep comes from the Animation Director drawing characters, I don't know why, on purpose with designs of Shugo Chara of which he is Animation supervisor.

Now you know what animation directors are, let's stop irritating, annoying talks about budget, which pop up every here and there. That really pisses me off.

Thai, Filipino and the budget have nothing to do with this. Got it? Then let's see and laugh at Shugo Chara OP.

And for those who are fansubbers, translate at the very least Animation Directors' names please.

mostly a light hearted comedy break in this episode. Poor Ranka being crushed by Sheryl in both her career and romantic endeavor.

and Luca is probably the funniest shouta in mecha series ever. his mental image of Alto being Sheryl's slave crack me up.

I'm mostly amused with the results of this week's poll. The votes are all over the place

As for the episode itself, it had its fun moments (Luca's imagination of a BDSM scenario, Sheryl's rampage through the academy in an ex gear and Ranka's cosplaying as a carrot) but there was no one single scene that was really made an impression for me unlike the previous episodes. However, it was meant to be lighthearted and so I stayed for the slapstick. Looking forward to next week, however.

Interesting, they changed the VF-1 from a J model in the manga to an A model in the anime.

It was an okay episode. Better than a Naruto filler for sure at least =P

After last week i wouldn't mind non fighting episode.

I didn't like the Naruto fillers, ok with Bleach fillers, and like Slayers fillers. Makes me wonder about this episode's filler material.
