The Dubbing of Death Note

I was expecting something to be bad about the English Dub for Death Note, but I found it way too good that I found myself astonished at it when I saw it on Adult Swim..

And you can hear Light's voice practically gloating at the fact that he's eating a potato chip. It is hilarious.

"And maybe, a in a few seconds. . .<dramatic pause>. . .I WILL EAT ANOTHER POTATO CHIP! You can't stop me L! Just watch as I eat these sinfully delicious slices of spud!"

i thought the potato chip scene was hilarious!! i had to laugh at that bit! he was so seriously evil about eating the damn chip....!

I still like the Japanese version more, but this one isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
