EDIT: It seems like Lala's mom is coming next month. This month was just the setup, so expect Lala's mom in November.

You know, for some reason I get the feeling, especially with recent chapters, that if Lala and all the other aliens in Rito's life never showed up, and if Haruna wasn't so prominent in his life, there's a reasonable chance that Rito could've ended up with Yui.

ha thats because there'd be nobody left besides Rito and Yui based on the main cast (and excluding Mikan as a ending girl).

Here's a guaranteed fact Rito was going to confess to haruna Lala interrupted them and began their clusterbomb relationship. If Lala never showed up he'd be dating haruna that is a fact.

That is true, you can't really argue with that. In any case, the raws came out, though I'm not certain on one point. It looks like Mea is now officially supporting the harem plan though I'm not sure.
