Zhaxra's Drawings

Aloha All!!!

Long time lurker, finally getting the courage to de-lurk. I don't usually draw in an anime/manga style though I love the artform. But I have done some of the characters is my amalgamated style. I don't draw much, usually only when the muse, lazy as she is, strikes me with a baseball bat.

Enjoy!

(Robin done in my 'style')

(This is why I don't draw kids or Chibi style - Older pic)

This is my latest drawing, non-anime.

I love Robin...she looks great and the fire in her hands look sweet...I like how you bounced the light off of her chest.

and the peice that you have in the link is just crazy cool. there is so much to take in....how long did that take you?

Thanx Mika!!! Robin was fun to do. The image in the link took about 10 hours over the course of a week and consited of approximately 50 layers divided into three layer sets, and weighed in at 305.1MB uncompressed at a working size of 3000 pixels in height and 3500 pixels in width. Glad you liked it.

btw is 'crazy cool' the new slang, because I thought it was still 'groovy'.

Thanx Shoeshefied & hobbsy!!! I'm happy you liked them!!!

Sorry I didn't reply sooner, just got back from a three week vacation and Mr. Flu was waiting for me when I got home... However, I did some sketching on my journey so here is one in my more animated style...

Sorry for the double post, ladies, gents, and penguins.

After about a year's worth of coloring off and on a wonderful sketch from Range Murate(sp!?), I finally finished it. Done in PS 7.0

some girls from Last Exile

Ah, and I almost forgot!! Here is a Xmas pic I did for a friend who can't get certain snacks where she lives in England.

Watch out for the tail...

Enjoy!!

Hehe... thanx Shoeshefied. But I can only take credit for the coloring. Range Murate actually drew it. He makes Alistia look yummy!

(12/12 Addition)

Since this doesn't exactly fit the "Christmas Cheer thread", it's more sad than cheerful, I'll post it here. This is the final of a sketch I posted in the 'Sketch thread'. Again not exactly Japanese Anime fan-art... here is Pamela Lillian Isley

Enjoy!

Thanks sarrah! Even though this thread is missing some of the stuff done in 2005, I'm happy you liked what you could see. Much mahalos!

Did some chracter designs for my friend last night based off his descriptions.

He felt the first one didn't show enough skin, while I still feel it shows to much. Go figure.

Enjoy!

I haven't done much artwork recently, too much WoW I guess, but here is one I finished a couple of days ago. I do apologize for the lack of 'anime' fell of it.

I've also started to play with Manga Studio Debut 3.0, and this sketch was the result.

09-02-06 Addition:

Created this in Manga Studio ( Digital Sketch, Inks ). I assume that I can use it for non-'anime/manga' style work, right?

-Enjoy!

Thanks, Chison!

Again I have to aplogise for the lack of 'anime/manga' style (also for the new ones as well).

Haven't been drawing much recently, probably due to Burning Crusade, but here is a comic strip I did a little while ago.

Not the greatest, I admit, but I am happy that I actually finished something.

Also some Digital Inking practice with Manga Studio Debut.

-Enjoy!
