I guess so but Nanami is a monster, her story is sad even if she commited various atrocities.

I suddenly have a question, sorry if this has been asked bedore .
At episode 10, Togame mentioned something about the true purpose of the sword hunt by the shogun kyuu, and thinking what is the real reason behind. It is quite strange that Shogun Kyuu cant retrieve Oto Nokogiri(which is not an offensive sword). Is it answered in the light novel? Or maybe it is mentioned in the anime and I somehow missed it?

In random news, my Togame figure arrived today (the one with the choices in eyes and hair styles). Kind of wish Shichika had had a companion figure to go with it but so it goes...

And sorry, I can't recall what the obstacle was in retrieving Oto Nokogiri -- been a while since watching the series.

This just came up in twitter feed.

http://www.katanagatari.com/news/

They're reairing Katanagatari starting April 2013 in Noitamina block.
Also there's going to be a Blu-ray box coming out.
Yeah about that Blu-ray box... Under the extras it lists "Creditless Opening(s) - First airing version".
I wonder if that means the re-airing is going to have new OPs.

Highly doubtful when you consider the author of this series.

Hello I'm a Korean - English translator from Mangacow

Just out of interest... Has anyone translated the light novel Katanagatari and Maniwagatari?

If not would you guys want someone to translate it?

I am not sure, you might want to search on Google before doing so but Baka Tsuki might have it.

I'm asking because Baka Tsuki doesn't have it both on their current and pending project list.

Even if there's someone else translating it, it doesn't mean they're doing very well or are persistent. If you can't find it at Baka or, say, Manga Fox or via google -- then I'd say go for it if you want to take on that large of a project.

I agree with this. Honestly, if there is nothing stopping you, just go for it.

The thing is that BT isn't a fansub group in the first place, just a place to dump translations. That is why some projects advance quickly while others hardly progress. It all depends on the FTLs on that series.

Also, it is a Nisio Isin work so it going to have a lot puns and idioms that you need to out for.

That's really an odd/incorrect result to take away from everyone cheering you on, mindful that it is going to be a challenging project.

Vexx is right. We didn't that you couldn't do it but we were actually cheering you on as well as telling you what you need to know about this series.

Well Jesus these things cost alot when you add the shipping too lol... mm

Personally I'm quite interested with book 4 Hakuto Hari, hoping to read if the fight between Sabi Hakuhei and Shichika was in there unlike the Anime where we were trolled. Other than that I've ordered book 7 mainly because I'm interested in details of his fight with Nanami.

So I'll get to working on those two books first before continuing on where the last translator left off.
