What is that hmv joke? supposed to be ? That isn't the first time I a merchandise depicting some anime girl with a hmv shirt on. Isn't hmv a shop in the UK that sells mostly games and DVD's

Among other things (HMV sells CDs, too), yes. The shirt she's wearing is the employee uniform, is all; not sure it's a joke, per se.

It's not a joke. I tried to contact them to see if they were able to send the box to oversea customers if they paid for it, but they responded it's exclusive to Japanese Customers. But at least I received my poster (it's the same image, with Madoka wearing HMV's uniform)

But the question was that why does Madoka, and some other anime girls too, have hmv shirts in the first place .. It's official merchandise no? so how come they're wearing hmv shirts .. I was just wondering what's the story behind hmv + random anime girls in their uniforms.

They're simply promotional tie-ins, IMHO, a bit like a celebrity endorsements to boost media attention to both entities; they see this as official, the fans will buy it.

A lot are rearranged into violin and piano, and some vocals. I've been following this guy since he started out on Youtube and not selling any of his music. Check it out if any of you like rearranged/remix music.

Ah yes, TAM of TAMUSIC. Very well known doujin artist mainly for his classical arranges, mainly from the Touhou Project, but also arranges of Key works, other video games (Final Fantasy being a recent one) and other anime music (even from K-ON!).
But, TAM has been selling CDs since 2006... and his first YouTube video was in 2007 (unless he removed a few)...
I'll probably buy this one.

Definitely going to consider getting those Homura and Mami Beach Queen figures. I'd prefer figures that actually represent them from the series, but may have to make do.

The better news is that it seems Kyouko is getting a nendroid! At least, I think those are nendroids. Chibi, deformed figures none the less if they aren't. Hopefully this means she'll be getting a proper figure soon as well.

My jaw hit the floor when I first saw the scans. I mean, she's all BAM! and BAM! I don't buy fanservice-y bikini figures, especially ones that small, but she's going to make a lot of people very happy.
