me too...have some of their songs...looking to buy their albums here but can't find them aaarrrggghhhh so well....you know....but i love their songs. the lead vocalist's voice is also good.

i actually don't understand their lyrics since i don't know the japanese language, but some of fave songs are 1/3, lovesick and 1999 (oh that rocks).

nowadays i also listen to alot of anime soundtracks, usually when i watch anime i skip through the opening but lately i've been listening to them, it's great actually.

eg. day-break (ayashi no ceres), aki maeda (that's her name methinks from the anime "boys be...") and also the FMP? fumoffu OP and ED, i like the songs.

edit: just realised, the thread is "i don't mean anime music".

actually if you're wondering, i also listen to english music now and then, used to like linkin park and Sum 41 (not anymore tho) but now listening to mandy moore.

actually, her songs are the only english songs i have in my playlist.

yes! eiffel65! hehehe great group, my console was a great song (p l a y s t a t i o n.. *breaks into song*)

Creed, 3 doors down, barenaked ladies, linkin park, I listen to basically anything I can get my hands on, I'll listen to country, classical it really doesn't matter, it basically depends on what kind of mood I'm in.

I was wondering if people were still listening to ska anymore. My second show ever was a ska show with Skankin Pickle, Less Than Jake, and Easy Big Fella. Man that was a lot of fun. Seems like I don't see many ska shows anymore, or if it's a ska band it's more ska/punk with almost all of the emphisis on the punk. Not really something you can dance too.

I like most of those groups too.

You'd be surprised how many people still listen to ska . Most of them are punks though.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION all the way! Vicious, as a fellow fan, I think you know why I like this band oh, so much.

Did you hear their new album Kunkei Five M, yet? It's awesome! Awesome I tells ya!
I'm only missing one song... 'Entrance'. Can't seem to get that one.

That's because no one these days has an opinion of their own. I'm not saying that all the people who listen to all that stuff (which is in it's own right good) get into it to look cool, but millions of people do. And because they get into the whole scene of the music, they brush aside good music because it's "just not cool".

Yeah, KUNKEI FIVE M IS DA BEST! There's no Asian Kung-Fu Generation song that I don't like, Kiva-san. I like them all, but my favorite is Kimi to Iu Hana (like the single version better). Entrance is cool too, look forward to it.

And McGrugg-san, you're right, unfortanely... if someone at least listened to Stairway to Heaven, that's the real, good and ol' rock. Immigrant Song, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused... White Summer, hear Jimmy Page and his magical guitar, he's along with Jimi Hendrix the best guitarrist ever! Gotta to Jimmy Page At least people still likes Metallica (even though St. Anger is horrible, the best Metallica album IMO is Ride the Lightning, and then the classic and most famous Black Album).
