How come people always want to pilot Gundams?

What about the humble yet amazing Zaku II?

The Kampfer?

Gelgoogs! Sazabis! GMs! Gouf! *insert every other unappriciated mobile suit here*

I mentioned Kampfer in my choices

Forget all your new age hippy finnels and newtype stuff the Kampfer is were its at

If you still want those trippy newtype visions you can take some mind altering drugs in the cockpit, there insta newtype effect!

Indeed

Kampfer will zip in at mach speed before you even realize you are under attack, your mobile suit is already blowned to hell.

The chain mine can destroy ANYTHING except for plotarmor like Alex's Chobam armor add-on components

I don't want to pilot any Gundams. I just want to be the one who manufacture them so other brave idiots can die in style in them while I make money.

sry not a GUNDAM, but my fav MS, i dont see my self piloting a GUNDAM th,o the SNIPER seems like a good MS that would suit me,

My favorite MS is the Gaplant , I just love the pivotings thrusters

.For the gundam , either the Zeta or the Alex .

GOUF Ignited!!! In my opinion, this Zaku is very underappreciated. Its beam sword and heat rod are simply too cool to even elaborate on.

is that in terms of stats (power output weapons etc?) or personal taste, i dunno where to find good sats for mecha

That doesn't say much by the end of the One Year War everything was better then a RX-78-2 Gundam, except for the older suits

The reactor outputs 10 kW more than the Gundam and it has more powerful thrusters and better thrust-weight ratio. It's slower on the ground (165 KM/H for the Gundam, 120 for the GM Sniper II) but it has much superior sensors and isn't built as a close-combat MS so the speed gap is very small in reality. The Gundam is also less agile than it is, before the magnetic coating.

Bah...Give me Strike or Impulse anyday. Or maybe the Destiny or Deathscythe. Something that requires much more skill than just pure spamming of rainbow-ish beams and big guns that can annihilate entire armies with one blast. Even the Hyaku Shiki sounds tempting...

Why not the Astray Out Frame? Then you can mount any Striker Pack, any Impulse Silhouette or any ZAKU Wizard
