Lightbulb Second season please?

I have the feeling there will be a second season. This doesn't seem like a very good place to end it, and it is such a successful anime that I think they will want to make another season. I have not read any of the manga or light novels, so I don't know if they go further or not, but I think that the success of the anime will result in another season. From the first episode I thought, "this looks similar to Shakugan no Shana" (except without the monsters or the fighting), and if they made a second season of Shakugan no Shana, I think they will make a second season of Toradora!, mostly because I thought Toradora! was a LOT better than Shakugan no Shana.

I'd say, lend a hand in creating another season, by signing petitions, casting votes, and buying merchandise.

Well if you want another season, it would a season of "original material" (25th epi should end with the last book of the light novels) Sometimes these are known to be called fillers (which kills anime like Naruto and Bleach imo). Sometimes it's mediocre like Claymore and SoulEater (last few ending episodes) compared to the original material. Sometimes it's ok like FMA. But statistics has shown it's not promising (ie good chance of major suckage) to have another season without the authors of the original series seriously penning down the story.

But ya go buy the series, merchandise if you like the series.

The more I listen to "Orange", the more I love the song. To me, it really has a soothing and comforting melody that always makes me feel good. Any time I've felt a little down recently, this song always seems finds a way to uplift my spirits.

lol the Orange in episode 25. Second verse, second chorus, etc., but now the background stills don't match the character solos.

i ran into this show looking for horie yui music and thought ill check it out...haven't regretted it personally i like vanilla salt it has a nice beat to it but i prefer orange (i even have it as a ringtone) probably because it trancends into the credits (might be because it fits the later episodes tune wise) better than vanilla salt
pre-parade i liked but could've done w/o silky heart (sorry yui)

The theme songs are really quite good, and - with the exception of "Pre-Parade," of course - have this sense of bittersweetness to them. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a song by Yui Horie this much - I love her singing voice, but rarely ever cared for her actual songs. Both ending songs as well as the second opening song quickly escalated to being some of my favorites for an anime series.

Information on the Toradora! Character Song Album is up at the official website. The list of songs and singers is:

1. "Frascoration" (?) - The kanji is フラスコレーション, and once again I run into something I'm not sure how to translate. Anyway, it's another song by the Taiga/Ami/Minori trio.
2. "Ore ni Dekiru Koto (俺に出来る事)" by Ryuji
3. "I MY" by Taiga
4. "TANPOPO" by Yuri-sensei
5. "Shitsuren Samba (失恋サンバ)" by Kitamura
6. "Full Swing" by Minori
7. "Yes!" by Ami
8. "Mirano Tengoku (ミラノ天国)" by Yasuko
9. "Holy Night" by Ami and Taiga <- Here we go.

The last two tracks are remixes.

10. "Pre-Parade -postparade remix"
11. "Orange -citrus remix-"

The release date is 4/30.

Why can we never have any male/female couple duets in these character songs?

You'd think they'd at least give us one Ryuuji/Taiga song...

Lucky Star - Kanata + Soujiro
SOUL EATER - Maka & Soul, Black Star & Tsubaki, Kid & Thompsons
Kashimashi - Compass ~Egao no Yukue~, if you want to ignore the fact that Hazumu had a gender change...
Hayate no Gotoku - Hermione Ayasaki + Mahou Shoujo Nagi (lol okay, this one doesn't really count either)

They've been done, just not very frequently... and the major reason they aren't done more is because most of the girls are too high-pitched and guys too low-pitched that songs just don't work out (I think Maka & Soul's song for SOUL EATER works fine but others don't agree so w.e).

Not sure if this has been brought up before in this thread, but has anyone listened to "Ka Ra Ku Ri"? The tune is pretty much stuck in my head after listening to it 10 times in a row.

I think Love Hina Again and Chobits also had something to that effect.

I'm surprised that the male characters are even getting any image songs at all - usually, more focus is put on the female leads.

This is because the male leads usually can't sing worth a damn. As a result, when they do get image songs, they tend to sound like crap. There are exceptions, but...

I really wonder if Junji Majima can even sing.

I apologize if someone else have asked / answered this question before, but what is the name of the piece that is played during the usual emotional times? It is a combination of strings and piano.

Can be found at
Episode 8, 20:10
Episode 16, 19:50
Episode 19, 19:33
Episode 22, 20:28
Episode 23, 20:30

Would be cool if someone tells me the name of the piece, and the name of the album (if there is one). Much thanks in advance.

I had a pretty good idea before going to check but I did anyway.

"Lost My Pieces."

More music is always fine with me.

Plus it has a remix of "Pre-Parade" sung by the men, which I look forward to purely for the novelty value.
