Interesting painting Sougun has. Could be a depiction of the Human-Dark Angel war. Sougun mentions it has been 12,000 years since Humans developed words. How it connects to Aquarion mythos we are not sure.

Sougun asks why Akira bothers to save Humans. This sort of talk seems reminiscent of Dark Angels.

The series looks like it is a restart of original aquarion than being a sequel to EVOL.
The pacing is a little slow but the story and world is much better built than EVO, and kinda like Sousei no aquarion. Considering EVOL was written by Okada and focused only on the pairings

The ending painting the white angel with head wings and back wings is called Nesta as opposed to Touma. Also, that golden rock, perhaps tree of life? Will be interesting to see how this will all go.

The flame war stuff was actually really well done. Because it is common on the internet.

Just a thought but what if this is actually a prequel to the story of Apollonius and Celiane. The story of the coming of the shadow angels and the beginning of humanity's fight against them.

basically:
Aquarion Logos
(12000 years)
Apollonius and Celiane's story
(12000 years)
Sousei no Aquarion
(12000 years)
Aquarion EVOL

This would also mean that the Sousei no aquarion(12000 years song) song wouldn't exist cause it hasn't been sung yet

But the problem is that the world of Logos is more developed than the world of sousei. UNless the shadow angel war destroyed their world. The place where they launch their vectors from is also Deava just like in Sousei.

Anyone seen this?

More like another split world or timeline. Aquarion Logos occurs in 2015. In Sousei no Aquarion the Shadow Angels awoke I believe in 2011.

In the Aquarion Evol OVA the Book of Genesis mention there are 7 worlds. Logos could be one of them.
