Spoiler for Episode 9 of PURE GAYNESS:

Vanishing Age (according to what was written on the HP) acting leader, Marino aka Manticore if i get the name right... is the big sister of the West Maiden Mizuno. Even so, she is aware of her lil sister being a maiden, and told Mizuno to not reveal it to anyone. And she's the only one who's skirt short enough to reveal her own pantsu.

Seems like GCB is trying to move their current phase to the 3rd phase (allowing them to maneuver their Cybody without using Cybercasket)... which can be done by releasing the seal of the West Maiden. According to them, once they're in 3rd phase, they could beat Tauburn anytime they want. Seems like they didn't realize that the West Maiden is actually the lil sister of Manticore.

But imo Ivrogne might know about this... based on the previous episode scene where Wanko, fish girl, Mizuno and her were riding on the same bus.

And Sugata this time can participate in the Zero Time event, though he still cannot apprivoise yet.

Other than that, this episode is filled with gayness between Sugata and Takuto lol.

Wow that training "mine's a little longer" . Well at least it's a pretty smart idea. Improving Takuto's fighting ability will help as the fights get more serious. He's had the phase advantage over the Crux, but that could definitely change in the future. Nice with Sugata no longer hiding his true self. Better to be more open with his friends.

But this is turning into a troublesome situation. If they can restore broken cybodies, Takuto's goal of destroying all the cybodies to free Wako will be nearly impossible. It will be endless. Of course if they can break another seal then it will be a total disaster since it would eliminate his advantage of being at the third phase. At least we know why they have been after Wako, actually know she is a priestess. The others aren't known yet even to the Crux.

But anyways is Takuto making a harem? He's got the West Miko interested already and her sister is possible later. Of course he's completely focused on Wako so they might as well give that up.

And yeah, Marino is definitely not a true supporter of the Glittering Crux. She infiltrated them to keep her sister safe. What is Head thinking? I'm sure he knows about her true identity.

This episode was a lot more enjoyable than the last one. Takuto, Sugata and Wako really seem like a proper trio now. Sugata and Takuto in particular have grown very close, told you overcoming the previous hurdle would strengthen their bromance.

Mizuno's a very fun character, she's like a female Takuto, except even more eccentric. She sure knows how to catch a bus
Marino's Manticore persona is equally fun. Her true plan is to destroy the Glittering Crux by annoying them to death.

I wonder why does Kiraboshi think that they can beat Takuto if they're at phase 3 themselves? Apart from being able to pilot a cybody from inside, it doesn't seem to be a big deal...

Glad the weird girl wasn't part of the enemy (like it seems most characters are...).
But from the preview and this episode, it seems Takuto will be using his protagonist magic and setting some flags with both of them?

It's a huge deal. The third phase will allow them to move their cybodies as if it were their own bodies. The cybodies' reaction time will improve dramatically, and their movements will be a lot more accurate. That's if they are decent fighters in real life, of course.

Being in phase 3 means you don't have to use the cybercasket - ie you're not "piloting" the cybody, it's movements are synced with yours. While piloting, there's inevitably a response time lag.

Cybody Ayingott, I saw it last time but I didn't know that it was a Cybody. Professor green said the project to restore Ayingott is still in progress. this Cybody has a scanning eye to find the West Maiden...so why Marino is okay with this ( she told her sister that she's gonna protect her in the bathtub later on )?? Unless she's lying about this whole regeneration-formula-thing.

Marione changed the rule of the Leader: the one who finds the West Maiden becomes the Leader. because she knew that none will find her. I can tell that there's some kind of a twist here.

the opening scene in the bathtub was funny, so it seems like more paintings are popping up everywhere, so Head is on a vacation, maybe to get over the loss of Sakana, i'm hoping Marino is fooling Crux and not her sister, so if they can repair cybodies that would mean trouble for Takuto, Ryousuke said something about getting ready for departure, i wonder what that meant, so the addition of Mizuno was just great, she is definitely my favorite character, so her first love is Takuto, but has to battle with Wako for him, next ep Marino also falls for Takuto
