I doubt their opinion really matters in this. They're probably under contractual obligation from Japan to dub and air the filler episodes.

They have to dub the entire series. Filler or not. Regardless if it's anime only this is the anime and not the manga they are dubbing so of course they'd dub and air it.

Such a shame, all the work they are going to put into dubbing this filler. I'm not quite interested in fillers since they really are not part of anything majorly serious, but I will watch it whenever I'm near a T.V at the time it airs just to pay respects for them dubbing this.. Hopefully the VA for the new characters will not be bad.

I agree I really don't like fillers but will watch them when I am near the TV

This arc is out-of-continuity, not "filler". It does nothing to the plot, since it's not connected to it in any way.

That doesn't automatically make it bad though, it was just made to fill in the anime while they let the manga progress. I'm sure its just a coincidence that the majority of fillers are mediocre at best.

Maybe in the context of it being in between in-continuity arcs, but in no way true in the derogatory sense that seems popular around here.

Psssh, first half Zanpakuto arc rocks the entirety of the HM arc, IMO.

One I disliked was the Amagai arc

For some people yes, but others no. Some people watch Bleach because they want to see the canon story. Anything that doesn't contribute the main storyline is pointless to them and is automatically bad. Doesn't matter if the filler on it's own is actually decent. It's not what they're looking for.

It feels like ever since the dub is coming out, this thread is getting more posts in... Well anyway, I dont hate fillers to the point that I do not watch them whenever they come on T.V, its just that I don't see the point in trying to follow along when its all going to go away and be a dream in the whole story plot. I actually admit that the Zanpakuto Arc was actually good for the most part, but then started to get boring when it just started to sound silly.

As I said before, I'll watch the Amagai arc whenever I'm near a T.V when it goes on.
