Ah, now it's my turn to sit back and wait for any kind soul out there to do summary for this game. Really want to play this but I don't have PS3

I guess the Oreimo PSP games must have done massively well to not only warrant a third game, but to upgrade it to the everybody-knows-is-not-cheap PS3.

^Yeah, producer Futami is keeping his word on the last Oreimo P Zoku interview when he said if possible he wants to do more OreImo game but it won't be the Portable series anymore.

Makes me wonder what his team will pull this time though. Reset the story at some point of the novel, or maybe further expand the story after the end of the upcoming last volume of the novel :3

I watched the stream of him talking about the game late last night. He kept mentioning the Portable Series and that he really enjoyed them a lot. Especially the endings where you would see Kyousuke's children. He didn't say much about the new game, but promised more information would be released.

Judging from the Teaser Trailer they released, I'm assuming that maybe they'll either abandon the 2D elements of the game, and use 3D models from now on to go with a new story. Or it could be possible that the PS3 game will just be the PSP Games on console using just 1 Disc. Either way...I'm still getting it.

There's also a possibility of merging both the storylines of Portable and P-Zoku and adding the ones not adapted from the light novels, creating a truly complete VN adaptation of Oreimo.

Of course, that might be expecting too much of them.

Says, it's just me or after 500+ post, no one mention anything about Ayase's IF route? You know, when she basically forced Kirino to give up on her friends ?

Fair enough, I'll hunt down the video of Ayase IF route. Is it the first or second game?

That IF is from the first game. The second game doesn't have IF route branched from the main routes (or rather, everything is an IF XD).

But unfortunately (for me, at least), there's some good chunk of yandere Ayase on second game as she has 5 dead ends, all involving, as the name suggest, Kyousuke mortally wounded

Oh I'm dead serious (pun intended

). Those happen if:
1. You don't show Kyousuke's phone to Ayase when Saori mails him.
2. You don't realize Ayase's effort to make Kyousuke's happy when they're on Akiba date.
3. You don't mention you're with Kanako when Ayase texted.
4. You fail to convince Ayase when Kirino and Kanako showed up on their beach date.
5. You said you don't think about H things about Ayase, leading her to believe Kyousuke doesn't really love her the most.

And yes, other than the last one, she... dead end-ed Kyousuke on the public

As long as you avoid the death flags, her route is very enjoyable and has many hnnngh-worthy scenes, especially for Ayase fan *like me*. Of course plot-wise it can't top her route from the first game, since almost all the important plot has been resolved there so the second game only deal with their new relationship.

There's someone on youtube who has been making a translated video walkthrough for the character scenarios for the first game. So far he's completed Kirino's, Kuroneko's, Kanako's,Ayase's and currently he's going through Saori.

That's something to look into if you're interested.
