The biggest question is how much episodes anime 2wei! will have. 1-cour or 2-cour?
Both are possible, but both inappropriate. 1-cour is too little, 2-cour is too much.

Two cours isn't too much. If they include the bonus chapters for more lighthearted episodes, it will be just enough.

The main part of 2wei! has 27 chapters. + there is more less 8 bonus chapters.
For 2-cour anime they would have to again stretching plot like in season one. Where we have one chapter for one episode. But this resulted in a relatively slow pace of the narrative. I'm not entirely sure if it is really a good option for 2wei!.

Let's say two cours are around 20 episodes. Do you really think they have to stretch things if there are around 35 chapters? They might have to, but I don't think it will be that bad. One cours is not enough, though, that's correct.

Also, Silver Link not only added, but also removed stuff from the first season. Almost any scene in which Iri, Liz and Sella showed that they know more about Ilya than they let on, was removed.

In most anime normal rate for adapting is usually 40-60 pages of manga per episode depending on the content.
2wei! has 27 chapters which have an average of 25-30 pages. And bonus chapters have an average of 2-15 pages.
In other words, there is material for about 16 normal paced episodes.
So stretch or cut?

Think he was just doubling the current cour's episode count, and assuming they could go two cours at a similar length of 10 each. It's definitely possible, as I know it's been done with 11 episodes per season with Psycho Pass, Guilty Crown, and Silver Spoon.

And me saying two cours with 20 episodes is based on this season here, which was also only ten episodes long. Wouldn't strike me as odd if they do ten episodes per cours.

2wei would fit nicely into 2 abbreviated cours, much as this first season was only 10 episodes. 20 to 22 episodes would be fine for 2wei.

The most important thing I've learned this season is that Silver Link really can do it when they try.

Chances are they were already working on it. There was an artbook released at comiket 84 by the character designer of the anime that contained 2wei characters.
