Don't get your hopes up too much. The preview for the next episode clearly says June 6th, so there's only a 50/50 chance of seeing them. This is the one thing I hate about the way this series has been done-- the way it randomly jerks you around all over the place temporally. So we're going to jump all the way from February 10th to June 6th.
I'm guessing it's June 6th of the previous year, but you can't tell with SHAFT. It could be June 6th of the current year... in which case we may miss a lot of good material, and instead we get stuck with this whole awkward "jam-an-episode-in-a-day-even-if-it-doesn't-work" approach, and we'll have to wait for some other random time for the stuff we missed to get jammed into another random episode. Ugh. On the one hand, it makes it easier to do more seasons, but on the other, it makes it a mess to keep track of who's where and what's what. It's kind of a ham-handed way of storytelling. Of course, I'll still watch it. :P |

My hope was more based on information coming out as opposed to them actually appearing in the episode. Of which I've already seen anyway.
I'm fine with the jumping through the time line as it's one of the charms of the series. I suspect most of season 3 to take place in Yuno's second year. The sole exception might be if they have an episode dedicated to the two news girl taking an exam. Which would take place before Yuno's second school year. Actually it would be hilarious if they repeated the same day as the first special, but instead of showing us what we saw they spent time focusing purely on the two new girls. I think that would be kind of neat.

And so, my watchthrough of the special is complete. Hidamari Sketch in the early afternoon coupled with some light snacks makes for a perfect environment. It's either that or the last thing I see before I go to bed, but we'll see what the new year brings.
The first episode was fun, especially with Miyako pulling off the bike tricks. Nori and Nazuna's brief appearance is nice, especially with ☆☆☆ on the way. The Sae/Natsume moment was also sweet. The second episode reminded me a bit of Natsu no Arashi's current opening at the start, what with the artistically naked Yuno drifting into the sea. Yoshinoya is always a treat, and I liked the bath segment this time. Yuno's thoughts are particularly nice this time around. As this will probably be the last time I hear "? de Wasshoi" and "Ryuusei Record", I made sure to appreciate it. For all 15 episodes, x365 was a lot of fun. Now, onward! |

Other than Amazon.jp, if I can't find anywhere cheaper, I'll get it from there. I only want this for the Yuno USB stick. |
