Even I can see how you can defeat someone who hears VERY well, it's not rocket science and it's been used quite a few times in fiction. (note: I haven't read the manga yet)

It's actually dumb, you can't possibly hear the movement before it happens especially if you are in the air.

Episode 52 was pretty cool, mostly set up for this storyline, the other teams seem pretty cool, Either Wendy's Guild, has that few members, or she's just that strong.
