I think is a little to hard to beat something like this.

He didn't release Her. The Imperator used the Takamagahara-system in order to start a lot of fights forcing Amaterasu to get closer to get rid of the reason for the fights and when she was close enough Terumi forced her into the real world in order to kill her.

Ragna's life is harsh, but we kinda know that since CT. CP (or the novel) revealed more about Jyubei:

Spoiler for Jyubei also has a harsh life:

I guess it's mostly Terumi's fault.

Thinking about it, Kokonoe really could have better opinion on her parents.... They really did there best, and it is not like Jyubei has a choice when he has to leave her behind....

More than Rachel? Because CP's Rachel seems really really strong....even stronger than CT Rachel actually...

Not to mention some other characters received a buff in CP too. Especially Hakumen, his blade attacks are faster than he used to be in CT.

Rachel's just S-tier along with Jin and Valkenhayn IIRC. S+ tier are Hazama, Litchi and Tao
a lot of people are saying Kokonoe's broken
and I think I pretty much agree. But who knows, it's still day 1 since her official release

anyway, here are examples as to why

corner to corner drag

extremely strong oki.
it doesn't matter if you get hit or not, the damage output is relatively the same according to people

All vids I've seen of Rachel has her dishing out like 8K+ for corner combos...

And I'm surprised Terumi isn't S+ as well...

Terumi has a lot of problem.
Meter reliant on almost anything. Little mix up, not enough pressure to grounded target, predictable reversal etc....

What.

I admit I don't own the game yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if you're basing that number off combo videos: Rachel gets nowhere near 8K practically, even in the corner. It's honestly usually more like 2.5 - 3K with 4.5K or so when using BBL extensions.

And just looking at what I've seen, if we're going by a strict tier system I'd place her in A or so: Her screen control and pressure is great as usual, and the new bats assist in making both of those elements greater, but compared to what the actual S - tiers can do she doesn't quite get the title.

Rachel's tachimawaru is amazing this time too. I think only Taokaka and Hazama can surpass her in that regard.

Anyone has links to a summary of the story thus far in the world of BlazBlu? The anime piqued my interest again but attempting to to join the story points in CT and CS hurts my brain already so I was wondering if CP shed any better light on this.

PS Vita version of BBCP in April.

Will include Arcade version updates, Beach Event story and will share DLC with PS3 version.

MERGE:

http://www.famitsu.com/news/201401/30047285.html

The beach event is a new gag reel added to the game. Ragna, Noel, Kagura and Celica find themselves on a beach on an island to the south and battle it out to see who the true main protagonist and heroine are.

An update to the arcade version adding Kagura, Terumi and Kokonoe as well as new balance changes is coming in mid-March and the Vita version will be the first consumer version to have these new changes.

Not mentioned in the web Famitsu article but in the printed article:
-DLC characters (Terumi and Kokonoe) are not included for free with Vita version, you will have to buy them. However DLC is shared between PS3 and Vita versions so if you own them on the PS3 version you will have them free of charge on Vita.
-Abyss Mode has been changed, items now have an equip cost. Max equip slots is now 5 but items can cost 2 or 3 equip slots.
-A summary story where Ragna, Celica and Rachel review and commentate events from previous games has been added.
