Avi cutter

Does anyone know where i can find a program similar to VCD Cutter, (which cuts segments of a video/ avi file)?

You could load the .avi file into VitualDub and change the In and Out points. Then re-encode. It would take a while, and you might loose a tiny bit of quality but it does work; I've done it becuase I was too lazy to find a real program.

I'm sure there are better ways. But if you don't want to spend money/ spend all day looking for the correct program, this will work.

There should be enough guides and links to 3rd party software (free) that you'll kick yourself that there's so many choices to choose from.

There's no need to re-encode as long as you cut the file so that the cut part starts with a keyframe.
