@ Rain - I meant when it comes to a fight. I need all the info I can get for a fight scene.

@ Eratas: Something like an innocent person or ally in danger would snap him out of his concentration on an enemy. His new focus would be the person in danger's safety.

There's nobody except him and Irish in the fight. I need spmething to exploit without qttacking civilians. Irish doesn't go after civilians anyway/

Side note - Is somebody breaking their own arm (complete with audible cracking sounds) to gain an advantage enough to shock him at least temporarily?

@ Rain - Huh? I thought he'd be used to something like that. Irish breaks both his arms on purpose later in a fight when Kyuukai grabs them both to pin him. He'll use his mouth to hold the knife for the remainder of the fight.

@ Eratas: It's a new tactic Kyuukai isn't used to. He's heard of people doing it, but it's his first time actually witnessing it. He has fought against people willing to go for suicide attacks to kill him and then themselves, but this is his first time dealing with someone who's done harm to themselves, and still intends to win after that.

When someone's down/incapacitated, Kyuukai won't finish them off. He'll let them live unless they're still going to do something to him or innocent people.

@ Rain - Irish can't be tranquilized since his body has a high immunity to drugs. How exactly would Kyuukai restrain him? It's not like rope's gonna hold him for long. He might not even be completely sane during the fight.

@ Eratas: The Reaper's Sonata has a stun function. But I doubt it will work on Irish's skull suit.

The basis on the technology of the stun function, is to send out an electric signal that overloads the nerves. Like a very long ranged, highly modified taser. On an IS, it overloads the IS's electricity, and forces it to shock the pilot.

Is Irish's skull suit affected by this kind of thing? I doubt it will, so I suggest either this if it works (may need to shoot him quite a bit though, knowing Irish's pain threshold), or physically knock him out.

Now I've got to fetch dinner and have a bath. Be back in about 30 min.

@ Rain - It was meant to be a prototype pilot suit that increases the wearers strengths and resistances. Electricity resistance would be accounted for considering how many pilots use energy based weaponry.

It's actually Kyuukai's fault that Irish relapsed. He held him down and tried to restrain him during the fight so when the bomb exploded, Irish thought Joshua died. After the explosion Irish relapses and breaks his arm to continue the fight.

Side note - How old is Akira again?

Okay, here it is. It's from Ch. 14 of Heart of the Machine, in reguards of Akira's age (and then some).

I followed Akira though the halls, coming up to a spare computer room. I lock the door. The room's actually empty, with only a few wheeled chairs and the white painted metal walls. He sits down in a chair, and a hologram appears before him.

Clearance? Appears on the hologram.

"Akira Seisei. STASIS."

Voice wavelength confirmed. Optical scans confirmed. Individual claims to be Akira Seisei. Security Question: What is Akira Seisei's darkest secret?

Akira scowls as I grin widely.

"I, Akira Seisei, am a 28 year old virgin. Still."

Answer confirmed. The excuse of a man before Us is in fact a virgin. Security Question #2: What woman is Akira Seisei's type?

Akira's scowl grew. "This is rigged. This has got to be a prank." He growled.

Negative. This is not a prank. Your lowliness still stands, since you've never had any romantic interaction with a woman in any way, according to Our programmer/your mother, Tabane Shinonono. That's kind of pathetic, don't you think?

"Oh fuck you." Akira swore. I smack him on the head since Koyomi was in the room.

You still haven't answered Our question.

"I like motherly, compassionate women, alright?"

Answer confirmed. You're still rather pathetic. Your brother has gotten into a relationship, has a budding harem possibly heading his way, and you haven't had oh so much as a kiss. And kisses from your mother, Our all powerful, almighty creator, Tabane Shinonono, don't count.

Akira gaped at the hologram.

Oh, and I saw the picture. Also, I'd reccomend at least sending a pm to DMAsh to see if he's okay with that. It's originally his OC, and he's my beta for Heart of the Machine. He's helped with a lot, and I go to him for his opinion on where my story is going.

With his advice, I haven't gone wrong yet.

@ Jak: I'm holding up pretty well, thanks for asking. Heart of the Machine shall get an update, then shall two other of my stories before another HotM update. I'm already starting on chapter 17.

I haven't had any Lyra-issues . Lyra is the name of the girl who's more or less stalking me.

Yeah, I'm doing okay myself with Project Silverback, aside from the fact that I'm working on Ch. 4 of it.

Having a stalker... Ugh! I don't know about you, but if I had a stalker, I ain't going to feel right that's for sure. And you said that her and your sister ate your snacks, especially the Pocky, right?

Well, here's a tip; store them in your room. That's what I do for my snacks.

@ Rain - The explosion was supposed to wipe out the whole area but Joshua managed to limit it to the room by taking out some of the explosive components. Either way, Irish and Kyuukai hear it and he goes ballistic with anger and relapses.

Kyuukai has to deal with someone he can't fight conventionally. When he relapses, Irish ignores any and all injuries so any physical injuries are more or less ignored.

Is the picture okay? I'm afraid he looks too girly. Does he look alright?

Side note - Good luck with your problem. Hope yiu deal with it properly.

@ Jak: I lock my room anyway, but my sister somehow gets in there. There's no lock on the window, which is on the second floor of my house. She can easily get to my small balcony, which is just about three feet away from her own. She just climbs in there on my parents orders to search my room for porn. I don't keep any, that's for sure.

But I'm still hunting the web for an affordable safe to stash my money and swiss army knife in.

@ Eratas: That's him when he's forced to crossdress, right? So it's okay if he looks girly. But it does increase the embarassment factor.

Also, Kyuukai will be just fighting to physically knock out Irish, like giving him a strong impact to the head.

@ Rain - Do you mind if I put in a scene where where Kyuukai makes the guys + "Charles" go drinking with him? It's not like he respects the age limit anyway.
