I love the zero punctuation review of the game, because he completely ignores the story entirely making up some shit to make more funnies. I laughed a lot, but at the guy's poor review of it.

I just got dark arisen (never got the original dragon's dogma), and I have to say these are the best ai companions I've ever had in any game where you have ai companions fighting alongside you. skyrim companions can go eat a faceful of arrows compared to these guys. Not to mention the combat is terrific fun.

Your pawn did you change it into a guy? Rehired some new pawns and saw yours changed as a guy. If not it's probably a bug.

OH ... no I changed my pawn because the ending is awkward with a female pawn as a male arisin.

I've looked at people's impressions and seems like people are impressed with how the pawns behave in battle but don't like their speech.

I'm actually fine with the speech.

Get the game since april 26th(the release date for EU) last friday(played the japanese's Dark Arisen's demo for more than 20 hours!), never played Dragon's Dogma before but i like it! The world is so big, so many annexes quests, the night's situation is very stressfull(can't see far because of the darkness), and the Pawns are very clever & usefull! Played already more of 30 hours until now...

It's only my thought; this game is like a White Knight Chronicles without the co-op, but with more dynamic battles, a bigger world and complex interactions in it...

After raiding Bitterblack Isle, I pimped out my Arisen (Savan) and my Main Pawn (Tristan) with some of the illustrious new gear :P And FYI I am totally loving the Persecutor's mask AKA Eliminator (Minotaur's) helmet.

Yesterday i learned about the hybrid vocation only for the Arisen, and panicked a little... I want to be a Magik Knight, but for that i need to change my Arisen(lv 30 fighter) to Warrior, and later to Magician(lv50?), next to Sorcerer(lv75?) and a last Magik Knight(lv90?)? Since i need strenght and Magik for it...

... Now on story i'm on the Pawn's guild in the castle, and doing a lot of side quests, like escorting NPCs to the world, and exploring it at the same time...

Guessing this will explain more on the Arisen side. Well I'd play it for the story, but not gonna pay for micro transactions and levels.
