Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne literally began with the end of the world. There was nothing left to save. As the main character, you could only help to decide the shape of the new world to come.

All the same, I'll keep an eye on this anime next season. Especially since the writers have been involved in some of the best-written JRPGs I've played.

No, the thread should only be moved once the first episode has been fansubbed and released (or if the show is licensed then it should be moved once the first episode has aired). Promos or previews don't count.

Not so sure what to expect really. The premise reminds me of Night Wizard for some reason (game-to-anime conversion aspect as well).

BUT, the music was just amazingly gorgeous, so I had to watch the trailer like three times.

Yoshihiro Ike is quickly making a name for himself as a top quality composer in my book. Almost every anime with his work in it, I loved.

I highly doubt you heard it somewhere. Its a new anime based off a game that isnt even out yet. The boy sounds like a boy that worked with Yoko Kanno in the opening to Ghost in the Shell though, I forget his name.

That song would be Inner Universe and that boy would be Ben Del Maestro....

The music is being composed by Ike Yoshihiro if that helps.

A new trailer was posted on the official website.

I'm actually rather pleased by the overall look. I felt somewhat underwhelmed after the first few pictures became available on places like Famitsu, but seeing the animated product was actually relieving. I am so reminded of the Tsubasa OVAs (produced by the exact same team inside Production I.G., I believe?) - the first pictures looked decent at best, yet I thought the art was outstanding throughout the three episodes.
Of course, whether the story can also be at top levels remains to be seen, being a game adaptation and all... but I shouldn't be too picky during this season.

I also assume the song that's played is the OP? At least, I can imagine this being sung by AAA - even though the only AAA song I can remember is Climax Jump . It sounds... well, odd. Not really bad, though.

Being a Production I.G fan I expect a good show, my only concern is that something like Prism Ark might come out, but I believe in them and their abilities and the fact that I.Gs are a whole lot better than Front Line.
After watching this new trailer I still think that it will be a good series, though I don't really like the lil' eyepatched pedobear.

Heh~, surprisingly interesting~
For one thing, the protagonists are on the extermination side, and plan to destroy the world... Wonder how that plays out... Maybe the whole world isn't real and this is actually a dream or fantasy of someone.

OP... Animation was good, but the song not so much (though it wasn't bad either).
ED was decent. Song was nice, and the little ED animation wasn't too boring.

I guess this show shouldn't be taken too seriously? At least, I found it hard to get serious when we have talking cats and chibi-bears... And other beast people.

Kirie/Kyrie(?) seems like a typical protagonist, being weak but for some reason, was able to cause that Destruct Code orb to glow. But I found him to be an amusing character, so OK.
Morte... No opinion for now here...
Toppi(?)... Can't take him seriously, but sure was strong.

Anyways, it was a pretty fun episode, so I'm willing to watch this to the end. Could be good~

Preview: Loli, that dragon girl (going berserk already?), and Najya, in a casino, and more of those grunts from the salvation side...

Yeah, it was surprisingly alright. Lots to like, but a lot that I expect could shut people off to it entirely. *shrug*

Kirie (whatever his name is) needs to step it up though. Half the episode was him being taken hostage, over and over again.
