FEAR 3 Announcement

John Carpenter dipping his hands into the FEAR franchise? Wonder how this will turn out...

Mmm, can't say I was overly impressed by the preview video... But I am interested in a 3rd game.

FEAR 1 was pretty awesome.
FEAR 2 was a little medicore but still good.
The DLC Reborn felt a lot more like the first game.

I am really hoping they manage to make a very good game again.
Can't wait for more info.

Well , i liked the 1 and 2 (specially the school part XD , the night with my big headphones and extra volume OMG freaking awesome ^^ )
but the second wasn't so great .
Hope for a better game for the 3rd .

It -is- Alma. She's pregnant at the end of FEAR 2 with Becket's mindrape baby.

And yeah it's probably the return of the pointman. I remember reading somewhere that the whole bit with FEAR 2's story was just a ploy by Geneive to capture the pointman.

I'm a bit worried about it being run by Day 1 studios though, they brought such things like that one game who's gimmick was terrain morphing and the mechassault series, which were pretty ... meh.

I found F.E.A.R I Alrite... I just got it month ago and just finished playing it. Maybe because the graphics are old but i didnt find this game really fun to play or the story that intresting.

Ow yeah , that's true , i forgot that she was pregnant .
I dunno if they deleted the title "Renaissance" cuz at the start , Fear 3 was named Fear 3 : Renaissance but they didn't show it in the trailer .

The child is probably Beckett's. Due to Beckett's incredible psi potential he gets raped and Alma has his child, and that kid sure has more power than his two older brothers.

Judging from the end scenario, it seems that Fettel isn't pleased and now forms an unholy alliance with PM.

The Alma we know was created because of what they did to her. Those were actions, this is the consequence.

They wanted to harvest Alma, and in the process they were reaped instead. It is karma, the divine comedy... Alma, you should rest... Ruhe jetzt, you've been through enough.

I feel pity for her and her victims. I took no pleasure at shooting at her when necessary. Nor did I feel any kind of joy to see her malice. Just a endless cycle of revenge and attempted slavery.

Overall? Possibly rent, possibly buy. I feel bad for Alma. That is my only current comment on the matter.

I really loved the first F.E.A.R, the second was pretier but IMO it lacked a bit in the creepy ambiance departement, i hope the third will be a good game and that we will get the end of the story.

Mm. FEAR 2 didn't have the kinda darkness, you were outside alot of the time if I remember.

And most of the time you were outside, it was in broad daylight. Sure it wasn't very bright daylight due to the recent explosion, but there were only a few stretches in FEAR 2 where it was actually dark, unlike in the original.

I'm hoping that the FEAR 3 trailer reflects what the game will look like: More creepy dark areas.

hmm... i loved the multiplayer of both fear 1 and 2 but fear 1 was more "exciting" campaign/single player wise, i guess as a way to describe it for me. I'm hoping theres a bit more fear 1 influence then 2.

The DLC was better than the sequel? lol gotta check that out soon

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.
