Question, how much of it was original? I know the onsen mixed up was in the game because I saw the video, but what about the room haunting ?

Seems that this episode has been mostly faithful to the game, except Nanako calling Yu a gigolo :0, later questioning Kuma and Yu as perverts, and taking a bath again ending in failure. Aika is just all over the place lately. The animation seems to have dropped off big time here, especially some facial expressions. Naoto is very shy while Nanako seems to be quite brave. Polar opposites for being detectives.

Naoto's boobs aren't as big as we were lead to think in the game. 99,9% of her doujins are therefore inaccurate, though it's not like hentai artist care all that much about remaining faithful to the original material when it comes to breast sizes.
Margaret, you mean. And indeed, it was a lot funnier coming from her. I loved how happily and innocently she reported what she learned about her big bro. Natural gigolo, eh... it fits him so well

It's weird how poor the consistency and quality of the animation is for Persona especially for such a well established brandname.
Yukiko was the highlight of the episode though Nanako probably got the best line. I would say Kuma and Yu being suspected for being a perv was the best part of the show for me.

These last two episodes were just too funny for words.
I really LOVE the anime's interpretation of the Narukami character. He's like, seemingly stoic and neutral, you know, like a silent protagonist. But underneath all that is a character who is probably more of a cloud cuckoolander than anyone else. Plus, you know, the fact that he comes to ridiculous decisions without thinking them over in the slightest, lampshades the Adventure/RPG genre in general. |

Dammit, I always get so annoyed the guys don't get any payback for the incident with the rotenburo! *shakes fist* Bah, at least I can make the girls wear maid outfits in the Golden for the rest of the game in retaliation.

Episode 19:
* What?! The Velvet Room is empty?! I wasn't expecting that until [SPOILERS]. * Galactic Punt! with Yosuke as the victim of course. * Mostly faithful (Ayane) Sun Social Link. Her Japanese voice sounds more confident than the English one. * LOL, Yuu really enjoyed the King's Game. * In the game, the MC can choose which side to sit on. Taking the male side would land Yosuke on the female side. Yuu seems to be having too much fun roleplaying a female. * In the game, it is the male class rep and not Daisuke who's the third male. * LOL, Yosuke X Yuu. "Anybody you like, Yosuke" was the third option to choose. * Aika, the most useful anime original character ever. Just by serving food, she prevented the group date cafe from collapsing into total failure like it did ingame. * If I remember correctly, Rise dressed up Kanji, Chie did Yosuke, and Yukiko Yuu. * Teddie is cosplaying Alice (the lvl 72 Death Arcana Persona, which borrowed the typical Wonderland depiction.) * Hey, the writers folded in the end of Rise's Social Link too. * In the game, the girls first introduced themselves in normal casual attire before the swimsuits, so Naoto got to show up on stage for the first part. * I'm surprised the writers did not do an intro for Kashiwagi and Ohtani just for laughs. Those two were nasty to the other girls. * God damn, there's some really awful artwork here. Please clean this shit up for the BDs. Episode 20: * Um, please tell me "gigoro" is a transplanted term and not actual Japanese. * I think that's the first time ever the exterior of Amagi Inn was shown. * Aika, still being useful as usual. * The latter half of Yukiko's Social Link. The first part in the game was about her deciding to leave Inaba and the inn, and going about trying to prepare herself; it was only the douchebag reporters that made her realize how much she loved the inn. She handled everything fine here without any support from Yuu, however. * Pingpong and the second attempt to bathe is anime original. * Mostly a very faithful adaptation of the festival afterparty. How many episodes are left? I'm not seeing any way with good pacing to go to the True Ending with any less than 6 episodes. If only 4 are left, then we'll only get to the Good End.

The series really is going to have to put the pedal down from this point on.

Though really these trips have sucked mostly for the guys. Mystery Food X, knocked into the cold river with someone throwing up, the cross dressing, and now this. Even worse for the other guys since at least Yu is putting together a harem here.
