noo, Mari. Why always her.

By the way, Erika again said something "against" her, the first time she lessened her stating how she (Erika) was way better than mari with the sword and now she said something again about her (not being a nice person). if this show were less tetsuya-centric I'd say that something is going on between them, but since it is probably nothing relevant is going on. But it is strange because in theory mari is the only one out of Tetsuya's ring

She has shown a rather strong dislike of her since the confrontation after the first day of school as she is glaring at her the whole time and her comment later in ep 2 that she does whatever she wants. It's quite clear they have a history although it seems one sided since Mari doesn't seem to react to her much.

Though I imagine if Mari manages to lose her competition, that will likely put more importance on Miyuki winning hers and make First High School desperate enough to make Tatsuya compete in the tournament.

I could also see Mari's accident possibly leading to some more info about why Erika seems to dislike her so much.

You know what would probably improve the anime a bit?

Spending the 3 min OP on explaining what is wrong with Magic (in chibi form) and then when we see something that uses it (Such as the 3 casters on the car) we can understand better what happens.

That's not all. Lelouche was smart, but weak. Tatsuya is easily both.

After watching the new ending credits, I find the lack of Honoka and Shizuku disturbing. Add on top of that, Azusa is in it. I guess that is indicating where the stories will go.

I am more concerned that for some reason Kira and Lacus are still on this list. I like them but even I have to question their longevity.

they were insanely popular for a long time when GS and GSD aired. Then they got a resurgence because of the HD remaster that only ended recently. Not really a surprise.

Kirito is a straight up Ace character. Tatsuya is a little too unorthodox to match up.
