(Non-shoujo) Romance between a teenager girl and middle-aged man
Just wondering if there is any anime/manga with such pairing around.
It could be admire/platonic rather than sexual. Or simply puppy love/ father-figure complex. As long as it has some sweet/adorable moment. And no bad ending if possible Please avoid if the guy in mid 30s or 40s but are drawn like teenager/ or in mid 20s. I want to see a clear age/ generation gap PS: Usagi Drops manga never exist for me. So don't mention it

Good suggestions, and both are non romance to be sure.
Another possibility is My Girl by Sahara Mizu. Maybe Meiji hiro Kiitan as well? I wonder if Yotsubato would also qualify?

Haven't reads these two yet so i will check out later

Either way that manga and Yotsuba probably won't work, as mentioned the guys are too young looking. They literally can be passed a college ages, comparing to the girls in high school status. So there is not that clear age gaps Edit: checked out a few pages of Barakamon and Shirogane no Nina. And while it looked interesting no doubt, and i will definitely read it. But clearly not what i had in mind. When i mentioned generation gap, i thought it more on 15-20 vs 35-40, rather than 10 vs 25 >__<

Ahh...I was continuing off of the non romance qualifier for both My Girl and Yotsubata...I should have made that clearer...and was using a 20 odd year age difference as a reference point.
Meiji hiro Kitan does have romantic underpinings though, and while the current manga will end soon a sequel will follow, presumably after a time skip to make the romance development okay. But if you specifically want someone in their 40's then none of my suggestions would exactly fit the bill. My bad.

Miman Renai is probably what you're looking for. It depicts a sexless, pure romantic relationship between a 30-year-old and a 13-year-old. There's a lot of adorable comedy and very little in the way of heavy drama.

I actually was looking for non-shoujo AND romance one. As with that set up, the former often turns out to be a smut manga No wonder all of the girls in your suggestions fell into the very young age group. As surely there won't be any romance that way

By the by Miman Renai might indeed fit the bill for you. What about male figures that are not human? If so then Mahou Tsukai no Yome might work...and maybe even Sugar Apple Fairy Tale....

Can't quire remember the detail but i think i'm traumatized by one of his manga when i was small (something about some characters dying). So now whenever i saw his art, i just don't want to read it .

Thank but i also would prefer to avoid Korean manga/comic too. As they are often too drama~ish for my taste
(And there is always a bitchy character to rage me over...) Mahou Tsukai no Yome is definitely of my preference. A good mix of plot, romance and comedy. One of the best manga that i have read recently to be honest.

I don't hear many people discussing it, but it is definitely an interesting one ... then again, I enjoy Irish, Scottish, Welsh and British folklore and history, so I am prolly pre-disposed to it a bit.

Yeah, I means both main characters are just so likeable.
Ellias is probably one of the most interesting male character of all manga i read. A mix of very scary looking (i appreciate that he will stop using that human mask altogether through, it ruined his character) good nature at heart, mature, dependent and upfront when it comes to relationship, but generally inexperienced when it get serious. Normally in such paring, the guy is often the much weaker character, and they have to depend on the interaction with the girl, but Ellias stood out by himself. Perfect combination with Chise really I probably will read it again, cause it's that enjoyable to read

I can't think of any stories with that pairing where the romance is reciprocated, but if you'll take "crushing" on the girl's part then I'll suggest Nijuu Mensou no Musume and Noein.

Hmm... Dear Only You Don't Know has it in one of the characters stories (Woman Hide Your Age chapters), but I think it's Korean.
