I wonder what people's opinion about the songs, especially the opening.

..... because there’s this truly godawful insert song in the middle where it sounds like the singer is either strangling or being strangled by a cat. Human vocal chords should not be able to make noises like that and still belong to a living person.

Personally, I like it a lot. It is very unique, and I love cats. So clearly the opinions can vary.

When the first episode aired, the OP wasn't well received on these parts either. The main reason was the same, the voice. But in the meanwhile time has passed and the single came out, and I'm reading more and more people who are starting to like/love it.

As far as I'm concerned, I liked it even at first. Anyway, since this is the music thread I'd like to spend a word on the ED too, "Hazy", which may very well become (waiting for the full version) my favourite Sphere song.

After a few loops, the OP caught my ears. The ED sounds rather generic though. Waiting for the full version anyway.

Love the OP, though a different singer would probably have only improved it. Still, she doesn't ruin it for me at all.

The ED is pretty good, although it does sound somewhat generic.

The OP has a pop-punk feel to it (which my adolescence past really likes as I grew up on this type of music), though I could do with a different singer.

I don't know I've been rather attracted to the OP since ep 2, it kind of charmed me in way so I actually love it.
& the single was released recently too, so I'm happily rejoicing over that.
The ed is rather nice too.

I've heard it six or seven times now, and the first ten seconds of the OP kills it for me. I cannot stand it.

That said, the other minute twenty of the short form is decent, though nothing special. Hazy is far superior, IMHO.

I have to agree the way OP starts ruins the mood of the rest of the song which is decent, though I can't say I particularly care for the singer of it either .

While I quite like the ED, it's fairly good Sphere song, I need the full version though to decide how I like it againist their other songs.

At first I was really disturbed by the OP (because of the voice), but now I love it. It was the same for me with the two Honey and Clover OPs, they sounded real crazy and weird at first, but after a while, you can't help but to listen to it over and over again

On May 11th, the ED Hazy single will be released for 1200(RE) and 1800(LE) yen . The LE also has a DVD with the PV for the song. The B-side is entitled Neo Eden. Cover art:

On June 8th, there will be an Image Song Collection CD that will contain image and character songs retailing for 3000 yen. No track listing is available, but Lantis lists 5 songs to be determined. Preliminary cover art:


Finally, yet another single by nano.RIPE will be released on June 29th containing three insert songs for the show: Saibo Kioku (Cell Memory), Tsukikage to Buranko (Moonlight and Swing), and Lip Synch. No cover art has been released.

IMO, the ED is far superior to the OP. The OP is good but the vocals kinda ruin the song for me.

yeah.. the op's vocals are kinda horrible... the ED is good though. its not standout by any means, but it does its job well.

Hmm, I'm going to wait for the ED release. Though i haven't watch the anime yet (poor me) the opening isi good enough, but the voice reduced my feelings....somehow.
