I think that is just lack of interest... just go to see Kubo's art at the Bleach's beginning and compare with the latest, same thing is valid for almost everyone.

But where the lack of interest is almost criminal, is in Air Gear, yeah, plot is sometimes complicated, but OG's art is superb...

When Honoka starts H.S the next school year and Kenichi, and co. are third years. Will the fan girl legion of Tanimoto target Honoka as an enemy?

Next year? I think she's three years younger that her brother which would make her a second year student in middle school right now and a third year student next year. So Tanimoto is safe (at school ^^")

Pretty sure she was mentioned to be currently a 3rd year in Middle School and should act her age in one of the recent chapters.

Are you really sure? It might be a translation mistake. When Honoka was introduced for the first time in chapter 2 it was stated that she was a fist year middle school student （中一）while her older brother was a first year high school student（高一）.
So she can't be in her third year when her brother is a secon year student unless she jumped classes, which was not mentioned anywhere as far as I know.

She was said to be in 6th grade when the series started. His brothers was in 10th grade. So yes, she is 3-4 year younger than her brother.

And I know this is a manga forum, but I really hated that there were like no scans (fanservice or otherwise) of the anime series before, during, or after the series came out. It's such a shame, because there was a lot of potential there.

Just read the most recent chapter, pretty exciting stuff, though I was a little confused what happened at the end. What is up with Ukita, lol. And go Kenichi run like the wind!

Enjoyed how Nejima ended up on top of truck before Kenichi so it shows that the man's mental prowess is out of this world. Really enjoyed how YOMI/YAMI tends to keeps their members with very expensive sports cars as we see Tirwat driving one when delivering the weapons master to pick up the grandfather. I really like the new guys design since it looks like on of the characters from Samuria Spirits. Oh, there is a nipple shot, but of all people it is from Shigure.
