The problem here is that only my group is credited on this site but this blunder could be considered to be more my fault. I thought the file name made it obvious enough that it was a collaboration between my group "Zabi" and the group "Hai'xie" so I decided not to mention it in the torrent submission topic. Sorry.

In other news... it seems AniRena redesigned their site again. Oh well, with useless (for torrents) RSS feeds, broken "group" pages and a Ajax loaded torrent list they don't seem to want us to pick up new links from them anymore. Combined with the somewhat lame torrent download screen it seems they really don't want people to use AniRena anymore.

I apologize if I was a bit blunt in my previous post.

But while my own admin/development practices aren't perfect either, I'm not so sure it's a good idea to "break" a working site and the start re-implementing features a few days later.

I also don't mind if for certain features Javascript is required; but for something as simple as a torrent list that shouldn't be the case IMHO. Turn off Javascript and the following page is useless: http://anirena.com/viewtracker.php?action=browse There are times when Ajax is useful; but don't over do it.

Though I'm not sure if it'll be the case this time, but if you decide to change URLs for things that conceivably will have been linked to from external sites (such as each group's individual torrent list) it would be useful to provide a redirect from the old URL (either by using a simple script on the old URL or a clever 404.php script). I haven't finished AnimeSuki v3 yet, but I'll try to make sure all old links work, even if the URLs change.

Last suggestion I'd like to make is to not require registration for searches. That's bloody annoying in my view. If you're worried about high load, try out Sphinx Search, which is faster and far less resource intensive than PHP/MySQL based searches. Also check out memcached (if you're not familiar with it already) for caching frequently used information.

On the bright side... while I'm not sure about using such a huge background image on overall I like the redesign (from a visual point of view).

Yes its not the proper way, it causes fliker while scrolling in some browsers (try holding down and dragging in Opera) and also assumes a lot of things such as size; not to mention the quality issues. Obviously because all these assumtions are made the background trick is easily broken.

There are of course ways to make this work, here's a example of a website using one of the better techniques: http://ringvemedia.com/ (try zooming out)

Might you add the second half of Static's release of Kemono no Souja Erin? The current listing only goes through episode 25. I believe you stopped listing Erin when Crunchy picked up the series, which was before you changed the policy on listing CR shows.

Not an actual correction, but just pointing something out.

I was under the impression that AnimeSuki doesn't list torrents of files with ripped CrunchyRoll subtitles, yet upon downloading an episode of Occult Academy from Yoi Releases, it was indeed a straight CR rip with an OP/ED translation from The Freelance Translators.
