I wonder what type of uniform L-elf is wearing? It's different than the others and any other faction that we've seen.

Well, L-Elf is Shoko's second so it's only fitting thta he gets a sweet update in his outfit like Shoko does to better represent his role.
Many kids died at the end of Season 1. They're gonna hopefully start acting like a real country now and drop the High School antics. Shoko cannot be spending her time with the students anymore as she has many responsibilities as Prime Minister which her new outfit reflects. Perhaps this was the push she needed to woman up to her position even if she can still lean on L-Elf when when/if she needs to. Also, think they'll have Haruto bring up him still trying to find Shoko's father and bring him back to her? That would be very awkward for Shoko and even L-Elf who promised to keep it a secret. |

I haven't been checking on this show in a while, but since summer season is beginning to draw to a close I've decided to check back. It was interesting to see the new uniforms of all the girls, though I really don't see why Tamahi and her clique squad are still around. They were hardly of use before, when this was still dealing with high school. Why are they still around now?
And I hope we get another PV soon. I want to know what's going on with the boys?

L-11 gets a cravat by virtue of simply being L-11.
Also like Shoko's new business suit. Certainly better than that tophat and orange shirt with manga eye faux pas from s1. Spoiler for Fashion monstrosity:
Does anyone know what date ep 1 of season 2 starts airing? Last edited by zztop; 2013-09-12 at 12:43. |

Not announced yet, but it will most likely air on October 3, together with Kill la Kill on MBS's Animeism (former will air on 1:35AM JST as usual, the latter will air 30 minutes later). Next season seems really packed enough with them.

L-Elf looks so sad in that picture. Guess he has to deal with fighting the Princess or she may actually die after all.
Shoko will have to work hard to comfort his broken feelings after that! >_> |

On the topic of general anime discussion, how does anyone see the 2nd half ending?
Remember that: (1)L-Elf & Haruto still have to bring revolution to Dorssia. (2)The Third Galactic Reich will rise. (3)We have a 200+ year time skip. (4)Future Saki seems to be at war with those "bull" mecha. (5)+ many minor details (L-Elf/Haruto's "descendent," Future Saki joining the Magius, etc...) I can't see season 2, covering all the above in 12 episodes. Is it safe to assume, that there exists the possibility of another season or would they simply "sardine" all the above into the second half? New Jior hasn't even begun expansion of their nation yet, by the time they do progress, that'll most likely be halfway into the season. Am I over thinking this?

We aren't sure who L-Elf mates with. If Haruto genes are in there than either L-Elf mated with Shoko or the Princess and had a child who eventually mingled bloodlines with say Haruto, and Shoko or Saki's, child or it's gene splicing/cloning!
Though the 200+ thing may be saved for the end and pave the way for another season/Valvrave series that will not have Shoko and L-Elf outside flashbacks. |

I also speculate that this season deals with the growth of New Jior & the Magius threat. That's sufficient for 12 episodes. But another major goal is to liberate Dorssia, I'm under the impression that cannot be done if they deal with Jior & the Magius. That is why I brought up the possibility of another season, there could even be a movie depending on how they deal with it. Quote:
Btw, I've been following this forum (By this forum, I mean Animesuki in general) since early 2012, I decided to join now. I've seen your ship theories, I'm also a L-Elf x Shoko supporter...lol

I dunno, that's a lot of time to skip in just 12 episodes and it would be removing popular characters like L-Elf and Shoko who aren't immortal.
I like L-Elf and Shoko but an adventure about their possible tween descendant with Saki doesn't sound all that awesome. |
