Bakuman will have the third season. But both of them still continue just because it's a promotion of the original manga. And I don't think that Gainax anime could do any boost in the sales of Medaka's manga.

Still we saw a lot of TV anime with cliff-hagers in the end that wasn't continued.
It's sales that matter, or the promotion -> sales of original material.

War God Mode Medaka was always one of my favourite and most awesome looks in the manga, it had this very primal and wild look to it...now with all that red glowyness and floating up in the air...it just looks ridiculous and I can't take it seriously...

War God Medaka is WILD and HAWT just like every men's dream right? LOL

BTW, I thought Medaka's War God hair was already sort of "floating up" in the Manga too? it's just they changed the color to make it look more "Rage" looking.

No, in the manga it does not float, at least not at this level.
But the main issue I have really is the colour T_T I can't take it seriously now...

Judging from the preview they're going to make shitty slice of life filler episode (even if it's written by Nishio). Sasuga Gainax da.

Oh, and they've also shown Chairman, yeah. But we won't see him in the next episode for sure.

And Kumagawa part was quite good, I think, but we didn't hear a word from him (well, he didn't said anything in manga too).

Honestly, they should have just cut straight to the Flask Plan arc if they wanted sales. Too bad the production committee for this show was completely retarded.

Then again that or even cutting straight to the Flask Plan arc would have left those that are new to the series a bit lost.
While it is the most boring part of the series, the initial School-life arc does allow people to connect a bit with the main characters, making some of the events in future arcs have a bit more impact than they would had it all been done in a single episode or two...
