Ugh, I am getting sick and tired of these hit and runs and they just leave when its about to get good. Twice now we've seen Ichigo get his ass handed to him, and they just leave out of nowhere. Really irritating. Especially if this is going to be the trend in the future.

The only thing that I found worth the episode was how Ichigo explained that using the Black tenshou speeds up the hollow taking over. That and the animation.

From the new OP though it seems to focus Orihime quite a bit. Very interesting.

OP ED were pretty nice. I like how they show all the SS characters in regular clothing, I would like to see a lot of them actually come to the Real World at one stage, for some reason I think it would be amusing to see Rukia's brother try and pass himself off as a student or Shunsui's reaction to school uniforms.

The animation was top notch. I especially liked the animation for Ichigo and Grimmjaw's conversation towards the end. Mizuho reminded me of Vicky from Fairly Odd Parents, very funny.

Two words: red. blood. How nice is that?

I wish the interstitial animation (the crazy lines on white) gets changed, though. They need Bleach fashion plates, Red Garden-style.

Lol...they did the same thing in 118 when Ikkaku got punched across a skyscraper, Edorad Leones did a little chicken dance. I consider it a "present", as "we splurged in this one scene to show we *can* animate, we just need more money to do a lot more of it"

Some of the DBZ-esque explosions made me chuckle.

Nah.. it is 2D in 1D rendition. You can tell by the edges on the circle. Rewatched the whole episode just to confirm it. Talk about excuses.

And how cool is Mizuho onesama? So was Matsumoto in the episode!

Nara Animation studio can definitely animate if they choose to as evident from the Naruto series.

Mizuho is hawt the best scene in the whole episode was the Bishi appearance of Ikkaku through the eyes of Mizuho .

I guess like many others, I really enjoyed the step-up in animation. Wow!

I will have to disagree with others though, Ichirin No hana will remain my favorite opening theme. Though, I might be biased because I like High and Mighty Color outside of the Anime.

Cool wardrobe change if so. Asano's sister rawks. Icchi being flogged was pretty nicely done. Poor Kon cant get a break, rofl @ Hanataro's Zanpakuto OP ED were pretty nice.
