So, in conclusion, I want at least a scene where he gets his butt kicked superhard. I don't care who does it. |

Pretty good although I found Murakami's computer breaking down kind of boring and I think Murakami overreacted here with Murasaki=>

Now I know why Ginko cherishes her computer here=> Spoiler:
Overall the first part was amazing with Yuuno kicking in her swimsuit the other parts were ok I guess. 7/10. Well that's good to know. I never liked her family that kept her isolated. But at this point where is Benitsubasa? Around the Denpa teki series? |

Episode two is scheduled to come out 3 December, with a special edition of volume 6 of the manga. There was a live event for the new OVA on 20 September. Director Matsuo Kou is quoted on 2channel as saying a number of things.
-- He chose four of the original seiyuus without auditions: Sawashiro Miyuki (Shinkuro), Shintani Ryouko (Yuuno), Sanada Asami (Tamaki), and Kuroda Takuya (Renjou). -- He and Yuuki Aoi saw alike, but not Sawashiro Miyuki. He and she just think differently. But they get along well, anyway. -- Because the show was pre-scored, the lines sometimes had to be changed during voice recording, and seiyuus sometimes complained -- Despite this being just a short OVA, he chose animators who were good enough to do series, and had some trouble matching schedules. -- Ao-chan (Yuuki Aoi) is really cute, but hearing her recently, she has become an adult. -- He loves Ao-chan, but that doesn't mean he's a lolicon, he's an "Ao-con."

Say, Kaoru. Thanks for that bit. I always like to read/watch stuff about 'the making of'. I would say, from that, that the animators did a good job. Sounded like they really wanted to do something properly for a change.

kita kita kita Episode 2 is here. This show happens to be one of my all time favorite series where I can indulge my harem/loli fantasies in abundance while observing the need for style, essence, and balance. On top of it I got this rare opportunity to come and play online at the very day this episode comes out. Happy. Hi there lolitron!

P.S. Yeah, haven't been that active lately for various reasons. Hopefully, such will change soon. As for the newly acquired numerous nick names, just let them know you are lolitron first and foremost.

Ahem, still though, just reading your post makes me want to not wait to see this next installment. Now I've got something to look forward to since Stargate Universe is in another of those half a year breaks Quote:

Wow, now I remember why I liked this series so much. The OVA makes me reminiscence the series. It would be nice if they have a second one, but considering how long it has been since the last series, it probably will be unlikely.
The action and humor is spot on for this series. Well maybe if I am lucky someday, I will buy the rights to a lot of series I like and make sequels out of them.

I've been trying to figure out why I haven't really enjoyed the two OVAs much. I think it may be because Murasaki is not really at the centre of the show. The TV series was built around her escape and protecting her from being recaptured. Here, there is no strong thread like that to hold the thing together.
And they are playing it too much for laughs and fighting, and not enough for the emotions of the main characters -- for my taste. I did think Yuuki Aoi came closer to recreating Murasaki in episode two than she did in ep1.

In the end, these ovas are just little treats to the manga readers but at the same time such a damn tease about the possibility of seeing a second season looking like that . I enjoyed them very much. |
