Virus on Usb
My usb have been infected with a virus that seem to duplicate itself everytime on insertion. I have removed it two time already using Avast but it keep on appearing. I like to keep reformating as a last option. The virus are xop32.exe, win32 Hupigon-LJL,and killVBS.vbs

From the brilliant sUBs, the creator of ComboFix, comes the Flash Disinfector, not as well-known but just as great. Sadly, there's no homepage for it D:
http://experi3nc3.wordpress.com/2007...ector-by-subs/ Try that out... Oh and if the root of the problem is on your hard drive, you can do anything to your USB, but it's still going to get infected So although you have Avast, maybe you scan try scanning with some other programs? Note... Autoplay is very annoying. This can cause your USB to automatically run whatever is in Autorun.inf, so for security reasons it's best to turn it off. You can manually do this every time by holding down Shift while inserting your USB, or disable it permanently by following the instructions here. Hope that helps! |
