I don't think so. Filler is something added to fill. That's not the case here. They're just taking something that was already in the LN and improving it to make it work in anime form.

Mother's Rosario is a character-driven arc, so they have to build the characters before they can delve into the drama. For instance, Asuna's conflict with her mother wouldn't have the same effectiveness if we didn't get to see how much she cares about her life in-game beforehand, and the forest house is a representation of that. What you propose would result in choppy pacing and poor dramatic execution.

He uses his Seven Deadly Sins skill (7-hits obviously xD) to slice up magic when Asuna+Sleeping Knights challenge the 27th Floor boss the second time and they run into a raid party in front of the boss room.

So if he can only do 7hit combos doesn't that mean Eugene and Asuna are stronger in 1v1 theoretically since they can just outhit him while he's on cooldown?

Kirito being Kirito would have a secret skill or plan to counter this. What comes to mind would be using a sword skill with his left sword to overcome the cooldown from the right sword.

In other words, nothing unusual for Kirito.

You guys think if kirito2.0 came back from UW and met someone as strong as zekken or kayaba(as they were before they died) or even stronger/faster, can he beat them? Well I know he beat kayaba, but it didn't really feel like that when he seemed like he deliberately let himself get stabbed.

Oh and about orig sword skill, did asuna use MR on uw?

Though he accomplished his goal which was to get the Sleeping Knights + Asuna into the boss room for their battle. So mission complete, kicking around a group 30 times his number was just a bonus for the lulz. No need to slaughter them all just hold the line.

Well, he even used dual wielding, so he wasn't holding back. And even then, 3 minutes was the longest he could hold up. That's why Asuna was determined to enter the room in 2 minutes.

I don't think they ever really showed the combo clearly. But if you rewatched the boss fight in Ep 21, you hear 5 hits and then another 5 hits, and then the final stab into the jewel to total 11 hit combo. She also used it on Asuna in their duel. Yuuki hit Asuna 6 times after deflecting Asuna's Quadruple Pain, and then another X number of times at the same time Asuna used her 2nd Quadruple Pain. Then the final stab she didn't finish to save Asuna's last bar of HP.

Kirito's {SPELL BLAST} was cool animated, but I would've liked it if they actually had him use the name {SEVEN SINS} and have the sword glow blood RED like in the novels rather than the same blue sword skill light so far in ALO.
