Here the memory lost part actually played role and not just for sacrifice sake. In the latest episode. Mitsuki even notice Yuu is acting different and he even considers it when she said that by looking at his mark. He doesn't know the exact memories being erased but its there and Mitsuki, knowing him the most notice the difference.

The others already debunk the other plot holes you said but be thankful that the memory lost here is being tackled compared to the memory lost of a certain idiotic spiky haired hero. No one notice that he doesn't remember anything at all 0_0 not even his parents 0_o

And here the sacrifice being used won't be healed or return or be circumnavigate by very convenient method even though you already sacrifice the body parts. It looks like it made him more lucky by doing so.

The last episode is also nice though the little pink haired devil awfully reminds me a lot of Aria and her childish behavior doesn't help her much for me to like her but I can't also blame her because she was kidnapped and then been brainwashed by a cult. Such misfortune upbringing.

There was a manga? is it being translated? up to what volume is the manga already?

And there aren't much useless fan service. That's good.

Thats fine. One thing that should be noted is that this is my first experience with this so im only going off what the anime said. And im making that view from a person who doesnt know whats coming but hey thats part of the issue in this case. I found myself doing a lot of the same relaxing during blade dance's anime run.
What it does show is that these shows are mainly going to appeal to people who already know the story and people new to it will have serious issues
This is all my opinion though if yours differs thats fine

i'm new to it but i'm enjoying it. maybe because it has minor fan service and stupid scene where the protag ended up in pervy way that makes it look dumb. i find it refreshing when the anime isn't trying to hard to do silly fan service.

i also search the manga and its not being translated only raw and there is also no translation for light novel. most here are anime only viewers.

Manga raws is only up to Tia's introduction. Translation of LN is only limited to prologue of LN1 and 2. But u never know, maybe at end of the season, a translator may be interested in picking it up?

Good episode. Mitsuki is completely imouto-zoned now. If she doesn't step up her game, she's gonna regret it. Iris is still lovely as ever, and she's one hell of a klutz! That's exactly what I love about Elsie in TWGOK. She forgot her panties? For God's sake... lol Meanwhile Tia joins the cast, huh. I found her a bit too bratty but I think I'll be able to sympathize with her much more by next episode. Can't really blame her for her behaviour, she is very young and without much of a childhood yet either. I figured she'd recognize Mononobe as her father like how Julie sees Thor as a father role in Abso Duo but I guess her reality isn't that warped yet. lol

Almost forgot about the prez, Charlotte. Uh... brofist for ultimate harem goal. Too bad she doesn't have much of a presence at all, must be the small screentime.

Finally, when Iris asked Mononobe if she could sit on his lap in Tia's place... I think her idea of how friends treat each other is otherworldly, or should I say moeworldly? Now imagine he would have said yes and she had forgotten to wear them, oh boy.

Not really because the same could be said about the opposite. Source material readers always come in with certain expectations and depending on the adaption itself plus the budget used, the disappointment will be much bigger than for those who come in with no knowledge and low expectations.

Thats true also maybe its just me whose just not a fan of Fafnir although even i gotta admit sometimes shows underwhelming me as well.

Episode 4 has been subbed. Tear is introduced to the cast, a bratty little girl with some extremely messed up circumstances. The headmaster was introduced too, quite a hoot she was. Look forward to the possibility of more of her.

Oh great. Now we have a pedophile dragon going after the new child. I really don't know what to think of this show anymore. The episodes are very slow and drags. There is not enough story, and the character development is almost non-existent. I'm really trying to enjoy this series, but the slow pacing is killing it.

Actually, all of Diomedea's, the animation company, works this season are not doing too well with its production quality. I'm wondering if this is a case of taking more than it can chew. They're working on 4 different shows right now (Seiken Tsukai no World Break, Kantai Collection: KanColle, Juuou Mujin no Fafnir, and Binan Koukou Chikyuu Bouei Bu Love!). Well having not dealt with Kantai Collection or Binan Koukou but reading the summaries i can tell you why the anime arent doing well and production doesnt help. Fafnir and World Break will appeal only to a limited group of people because for the most part the story itself limits what you can do. Having seen today's episode it was so bad it was painful and its not even clever in its execution. World breaks weakness thus far is that the first 2 were repetitive and the 3rd one i never read the source material but even i could tell they skipped a crapload of stuff and teh flow is non-existant. Kantai Collection just from looking at the premise is painfully stupid there's very little interesting you can do. The 4th one god the premise itself will take 90% of casual anime watchers away

Back to the episode today. That was painfully bad and i wondered why it took so long for translations to appear and its probably because they were laughing so hard at how bad it was they couldnt write the translations. I mean seriously i saw the premise and said no and i think im only watching praying it redeemed itself

Setting aside your premature opinion... the amount of sales, fans and general reception (i.e. pixiv) beg to differ.

Stop condemning a show just because it deliberately tries to appeal to a specific audience which happens to be smaller than mainstream audience. I'm no fujoshi but I can tell you that past the guys-only thing the comedy is top notch and it's a fun ride with acceptable production values. I'm rather sure it's popular among the people it aims at and even people like me who don't care about gender ratio in a show.

Back to the episode today. It always pains me to see people who watch something despite not enjoying it the least bit. I know you watch it in the hope the show will redeem itself which is good and commendable, but be prepared for a rough ride the next 8 or so weeks. Btw. CR stream happens like 2-3 days after the broadcast, it's a fixed schedule. Yeah, this time they delayed it an extra day... however I wouldn't trust them to be 100% on time anyway going from their recent track record.

It might be wise not to judge, condemn, or skip a show/movie/book just because of the silly premise. If you do, you might miss something really good. For example, many Pixar movies premise are silly and absurd (living toys, garbage robot, antropo-cars, old-man riding on his floating house, imaginary monsters babysitting an annoying kid, a mouse riding a human to be a chef in a resturant, etc). Despite those silly premise, the superb execution of both story and characters and many interesting things Pixar did speak for themselves, same with anime and any other storytelling-media. And I think Kantai Collection is cool so far, just saying.

to your first point you are right but its from a game so thats going to happen somewhat. 2. I'm not condeming it because it appeals to a small audience im simply saying exactly that it has its niche and very few people outside that niche will find it interesting

is honest about the rough ride and im trying to watch it get better but its gonna need a lot.

There's a difference Pixar movies in general are created for Kids because of the fact that kids dont care as much about the premise. The story and execution appeals to older kids certainly.

Pixar movies is just a small fraction of "good movies with silly or boring premise". I used it since it's an easy example. You want more examples of movies aimed at teenager & mature audience with boring/silly premise but actually good? We got Little Miss Sunshine, Scott Pilgrim, The Cornetto Trilogy, Clerks, Super, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, I could go on and on, but you should get the point already. Premise does not make or break a story nor a good material for judgement.
