I'm just happy that the setting is leaving Japan behind and is moving to worldwide, also I'm hoping Suzuka keeps his attitude from Stage 24+25, if he was like that at the start he wouldn't have anywhere near as many people hating his guts.

So, there was never a doubt in my mind that it will be a second season - it was planned that way originally, despite what they did or did not say to the public ^^; - and not a movie etc, but it's nice to get confirmation.

Suzaku as governor? Might be interesting, but he's not suited to administration (he's more like the one to charge into the middle of a fight), even if self-governance is a principle of the Empire and the NAC is now with Zero - well, that's the thing, it's not at all certain that there still is an Area 11 to speak of, so what would he be governor of? XD Anyway, he looks wicked, and I'm sure he'll keep his badass attitude now. He'll shape up and deliver this season.

As for Zero. If it's not Lelouch, then it's Kallen posing as him. That might sound really far-fetched but actually it kind of makes sense. She already knows his identity - one of the very few people who do - and Ougi told her that she inherited Zero's dream, or something like that - and we know from interviews that many things in ep 25 were supposed to foreshadow the second season.

As for Rollo, shoto or no shoto, if that kind face does not hide a vicious Geass user, I'll eat my hat XD. Ok, that's probably not it, but at the very least, his existence is a problem - for USJ, or for Britannia? Since it's the world, he must be an important political figure. Maybe his presence prevents a direct attack from Britannia or lends credibility to the USJ claim of free nation without racial prejudice.

More importantly, where the HECK is Lelouch? :S Of course, he could still be in that Zero costume, making the whole thing a cheap effort to drum up interest for the series after the break it took. Or, like someone said, it might be a ploy by Lelouch to divert attention from himself, although more likely he'd have gone into hiding - but that would make the whole school romance angle not possible anymore, wouldn't it?

The issue with New Zero would be the lack of Geass; No Strategic mind like lelouch. It would be a mess in battle X-x;

There's also the missing Gundam(I'm calling it a gundam, I don't care) that's at the bottom of the ocean with a squeezed orange and a Green Haired Geass Contractor. While Lancelot still exists and as we saw in ep24 he pwned the hell out of Zero's army.

Cornelia is also lacking a knight, Schneizel is entering the battle; Schneizel has his soldiers that dress in strange red. Cornelia's looks casual.

Considering his cloth and the fact the battle is moving from Japan=World I'd say Suzaku is a King's Knight now. His cloth looks far too High Class and almost similar to the King's even. He may turn into the King's knight o.o;

The only news I'm happy with is that it's confirmed it's in SPRING 2008.

We all knew Code Geass S2 was coming out anyways. Nice to know we won't wait longer than spring unless unfortunate things happen.

I'm not sure having Suzuku play the badass is cool. I mean, we have Lelouch for that sorta thing. I like the way Lelouch is the evilish kickass guy and Suzuku is the goody two shoes who is intent on going by the book without thinking (even if it's for reasons that we know aren't that pure XD)

Its very possible that Kallen becomes the next Zero. That would be a freakishly nice twist. There'd also be the love thing between her and Suzuku (There were hints in Season 1) and overall it'd be a nice thing.

I think, personally, lelouch will be MIA for a bit of the series, until he will suddenly make a grand reappearance and then things will really head for a plot twist. But yeah...

As for that kid, erm... I'm sorry, I really don't care a lot about em. XD

They can't make lelouch disappear even for a few episodes, he is the main driving force of the series! Suzaku looks like a general for some reason, with the cloak on...highly possible he has been promoted and has more power, thus more tension between him and lelouch....

I agree. Despite it all, Kallen is one of the more logical choices if lelouch isn't zero, though it is kind of a wonder how she will act as zero. She always seemed to be the type of person who followed, but never lead. It is an interesting proposition, but I really have no idea how the writers would work with that.

Oh the wait will be worth it . My guess is that Rollo is another son of Britannia's emperor. For Suzuka's clothing, he could be a King Knight. With that power he might use it to stop Lelouch.

Actually I'm not for sure what going to happen but I'm happy from what I'm seeing .

Well the news is pretty exciting and should be some good times ahead with this series coming back.

Am curious where Suzaku's character will go in this new season. Obviously his old route has been lost near the end of last season. There isn't a way for his goals to work out like that anymore.

Even if Britannia won and put Japan back under its control it would be under heavy restrictions for a very long time. The people won't accept Suzaku back regardless of the outcome because of his connection to Euphie and how much time he's spent fighting. All he has right now is his revenge for Euphie's death. At least we know he's got a new wardrobe .

The Zero questions are pretty interesting as well. Kallen taking that role on the large scale would be something. But will just wait and see on that side of it since there can be too much speculation that I`m uncertain about.

The Rollo guy...just looks weird to me. Oddly enough reminds me of the death character from Persona 3. Doesn't give off the impression of a huge character, but if he is on that page there has to be some real importance to his existence.
