The anime ended a couple of years before the manga. It is basically a parallel reality telling of the story.

I totally love this anime now. <33 I watch some episodes and I like this anime alot nw. The characters are really cute.

I watched all 53 episodes including the "OVA"!! Great anime, and the sequence was great!! I felt great that I got the chance to watch it because I was missing lots of stuff after reading the shoujo beats sample.

I'm reading the manga and it is very different from the anime. Better than the anime too!

I don't think all parts of the manga are better than the anime. The shinigami are handled a LOT better in the anime...er except for Izumi. All the characters in general are closer and it makes you feel warm and fuzzy.

BUT

I'm REALLY disappointed in Viz's release of the DVDs....they clearly don't care about the series at all for dubbing it SO mediocrely and NO EXTRAS!? My favorite anime on the face of this earth and we don't even get production sketches! It's so unfair! Go burn in hell, Viz Media.

The ending of the Anime was happier than the Manga.. I'm not going to give away why. The manga is just as good though but in different ways.

I'm planning to do all three of them. XD I did a sketch. Mitsuki and Meroko have the happy （゜∀゜）face and Takuto's expression says "This is really retarded." T_T

it's very funny and cute!

It takes a while to make the actual dancing ones though. D: But I'll try to get it done soon!

I like full moon wo sagashite, i was wondering if anybody knows when the rest of the dvds will come out i haven't bothered buying it cause it seems unfinish and i rather get a complete collection.
