It's only contagious with direct transfer, bites being the standard. Depends on the franchise, but it's most often this and judging from what we've seen, HOTD supports it.

i think they are already infected in a way it only happens when they die........

because all i see becomnig zombies are those who are dying due to huge lost of blood

What's his name back in episode 1 sure didn't seem to have any reason to die. He just naturally turned because of the virus/disease. And then his head got whomper-stompered.

It has to be Infected fluid to DIRECTLY to host's blood stream, as I assume that the virus doesn't last too long outside to air. So splashing won't work unless infected blood splashes to an open wound.

And if you ingest Infected blood, I think you'll just die from poisoning (I doubt you'll reanimate)

Episode three was sweet. Kuromo-kun is a bad ass; get that kid some training and he is going to be one bad dude. Hate that Teacher. Terrible. I am i the only one that found Rei's voice annoying? Beyond that the quality might actually be getting better. The use of shadows this episode is intense.

Apparently it's out and there is some new character introduced but I am thinking the teacher with glasses should die ASAP. I read the manga up to chapter 4 and really don't like him.

Bus part was similar to a movie of zombies I saw. Shaun of the dead reference? It was pure because that movie will never be superior to Zombie land movie that was better.

I am still wondering if I should watch it again with AT-X version.....there way too much black stuff and it's making me TBH. With the comparing chart last time done.....I am thinking more of just waiting for AT-X version.

It's still a purely 1:1 adaptation of the manga it seems. If they decide to maintain and force this it might cause problems with shorter chapters down the line.

Most notable of course is the appearance of Mr. Megalomania himself, Shidou.

Anyway based on the preview, looks like Madhouse does actually intend to animate "The Squeeze" or "The Grab" or whatever you wanna call it.
