Heck, Yuuno rarely gets the budget to show that his Chain Binds actually leave his target free to move. The giant bird and the water twisters managed to keep moving within their confines. Yuuno had to anchor his spell to the ground against the bird; against the twisters, he had to apply his own flight-power, which gets him thrown back when one of the twisters moves towards him and provides too much slack.

But in the final battle, against all of the robots? His chains wouldn't have prevented them from advancing on him at all, but they remained stock still.

And I'm still baffled that Gears of Destiny Yuuno uses his chains as SPEARS; Signum and Presea show us that the animators could and would do actual whipping motions, so why don't we see Yuuno lashing with his chains?

But speaking of those animated gifs, Reinforce looks to have some kind of Device.

Why does the Device have a Device, when poor Zafira has none? That just ain't fair. Or sensible.
